STERLING HEIGHTS, MICHIGAN: Rudy Giuliani expressed great pride in his attempts to challenge the 2020 presidential election results, despite being processed by Arizona authorities on Monday, June 10.

The ex-attorney for Donald Trump is facing indictment in Arizona over a scheme involving fake electors who falsely declared Trump's victory in the state.

Rudy Giuliani pleads not guilty to conspiracy, fraud, and forgery charges

Giuliani has entered a plea of not guilty to charges of conspiracy, fraud, and forgery. This marks his second criminal indictment connected to the events surrounding the 2020 election.

“You are now looking at the latest mugshot of former Mayor Rudy Giuliani,” Kaitlan Collins remarked during Monday's broadcast of 'The Source' on CNN as the mugshot was displayed on the screen, according to Media ITE.

She added, “He wasn’t processed by Arizona authorities until today. That’s why you’re seeing this photo now. And here’s what he said after he posted the $10,000 and bond.”

Collins subsequently broadcasted a segment showing a KPNX Phoenix reporter approaching Giuliani as he exited the police station after being processed.

The reporter asked, "Do you have any regrets about what you did in Arizona after the election?" Giuliani replied, "Oh my goodness, no."

"Why not?" the reporter further questioned.

Giuliani said, "I’m very, very proud of it. There was a substantial amount of vote fraud that went on here that was covered up. Probably one of the biggest conspiracies in American history."

Giuliani spox claims justice system is 'weaponized' against ex-mayor

A spokesperson for Giuliani claimed to Mediaite that the justice system is being "weaponized" against the former mayor and allies of Trump, aiming to sway the 2024 presidential election.

“This is yet another example of partisan actors weaponizing the criminal justice system to interfere with the 2024 presidential election through outlandish charges against President Trump and anyone willing to take on the permanent Washington political class,” Ted Goodman said.

“Joe Biden and his allies continue to eviscerate the trust and integrity of our criminal justice system in their quest to take down President Trump and hold on to power. Mayor Rudy Giuliani—the most effective federal prosecutor in US history—will be fully vindicated,” Goodman added.

Following the 2020 election, Trump and several of his supporters incorrectly asserted that the election was rigged. Giuliani led the legal challenges after the election on behalf of the former president, all of which were unsuccessful.

Rudy Giuliani's claims draw flak online

Reacting to the Media ITE report, an Internet user said, "He’s so pathetic you almost feel sorry for him. Then you remember he’s a traitor."

Another user added, "This guy is completely delusional." A third commented, "He needs a prison cell to be proud in."

"This guy should be thrown down a well," one wrote.

A reader remarked, "Proud of what? Even imagining for a moment that the 2020 election was stolen, Rudy's election efforts were laughable because he failed dismally and all he achieved was his own bankruptcy."
