Sade Robinson: Parents of student killed on first date notified about severed arm found on Mother's Day
MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN: More than seven weeks have passed since a 19-year-old college student was killed and dismembered while out on a date. In weeks following her death, cops found multiple body parts washing up ashore at multiple locations. Cops have now discovered a human arm on an Illinois beach.
Authorities told Sade Robinson's bereaved family on Mother's Day, but they have not confirmed that the part belonged to her, 12 WISN reports.
How was Sade Robinson's arm discovered?
On May 11 a person walking on the Waukegan Municipal Beach made the horrific discovery. The spot is located over 50 miles (80 kilometers) south of the basement sex dungeon where police believe Sade Robinson was killed. The Milwaukee Area Technical College student was killed after going on a date with 33-year-old Maxwell Anderson on April 1 and ending up at his house.
Blood smears covered the walls and bed in Anderson's basement where cops also found "a sex sling, restraints and handcuffs" that strangely did not resemble Robinson.
Her phone beeped several times between midnight and 4.30 am before the battery died somewhere around the Lake Michigan shores. Robinson's burnt Honda was found miles away in just a couple of hours.
A foot, a torso, an arm, and fragments of human flesh were found scattered along the coast in weeks following the tragedy.
What did Sade Robinson's family say?
Sade's mother's friend Erika Brown said “(Robinson’s mother) does want the rest of her baby. We can’t talk about cremation, burial, or any of those things,” according to the New York Post. Brown who is close to the Robinson family said, “The family is still struggling quite a bit and really, really needs prayers at this time,” Fox 6 reports.
"The family is still actively searching and just wants closure and this to be able to move forward quickly," said Dee-Dee Davis, a community activist who has been collaborating with the family. Anderson has been charged in this case with first-degree intentional homicide, mutilating a corpse, and arson. Anderson has at least three prior convictions for domestic incidents. Last month, he entered a not guilty plea. He has a $5 million bond imposed upon him.
