Sources familiar with the behind-the-scenes atmosphere at the ‘Today’ show revealed that Savannah has been tearing up during commercial breaks amid the continued uncertainty surrounding her mother’s whereabouts.

“She’s gotten emotional between commercial breaks,” a source told Page Six.

“Sometimes a fan will say something sweet to her, whether that is a guest or a sign from a fan outside that makes her feel touched,” the source explained to the outlet.

Noting that she doesn’t break down every day, the source added, “It’s to be expected.”
