NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Reps Cori Bush and Rashida Tlaib were reported to be the sole two representatives who opposed a bill preventing 'Hamas terrorists' from entering the United States.

The legislation, known as HR 6679 or the "No Immigration Benefits for Hamas Terrorists Act," extended the existing US ban on Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) officers to encompass all PLO members.

Following this news, Fox News anchor Sean Hannity took to X, formerly known as Twitter to slam the two Democrats.

Apparently, many people on the internet joined Hannity and slammed Tlaib and Bush.

Sean Hannity reports on Rashida Tlaib and Cori Bush voting against Hamas bill

Fox News anchor Sean Hannity took to X and wrote, “HAMAS HOLDOUTS: Guess Which Two Dems Voted Against a Bill to Ban Hamas Terrorists from the US.”

In his tweet, Hannity posted an article from his official website which reported that the voting was “almost unanimous” but Rashida Tlaib and Cori Bush voted against it.

The bill, introduced by Rep Tom McClintock not only prohibits Hamas members but also individuals involved in the October 7 attack from entering the US.

According to the legislation, anyone who "participated in, planned, financed, afforded material support to, or otherwise facilitated" the October 7 attack on Israel or subsequent attacks “shall be ineligible for any relief under the immigration laws.”

The bill read, “Any alien who carried out, participated in, planned, financed, afforded material support to, or otherwise facilitated any of the attacks against Israel initiated by Hamas beginning on October 7, 2023, is inadmissible.”

While 422 House members voted in favor of passing the bill, three far-left members either voted against it or voted present.

However, Bush and Tlaib cast their votes against the bill, while Rep Delia Ramirez opted to vote present. Following this, Tlaib released a statement alleging that the GOP is attempting to fuel animosity with the bill.

According to Tlaib, “H.R. 6679 is unnecessary because it is redundant with already existing federal law. It’s just another GOP messaging bill being used to incite anti-Arab, anti-Palestinian, and anti-Muslim hatred that makes communities like ours unsafe.”

Meanwhile, Ramirez explained her "present" vote, expressing frustration with "political games."

She explained her voting, adding, “I voted present because I am done with political games. The majority is wasting time bringing a bill that is already current law. There are already no immigration benefits for Hamas terrorists.”

She continued, “After participating for 15 hours of a sham impeachment, I could not stomach another bill only introduced to score cheap political points, politicize immigration, and divide our communities.”

“Like the Republican’s sham impeachment, this bill does not meaningfully address border security nor further protect our communities. H.R.6679 is unnecessary. It’s a waste of resources and time. And I’m not playing along.”

Internet calls Rashida Tlaib and Cori Bush ‘traitors’

Many X users took a brutal jab at Rashida Tlaib and Cori Bush.

One person wrote, “They should be removed from Congress,” and another said, “These women needs to be shown rare Videos of the things Hamaz are capable of doing. Maybe they are mistaking Hamaz to be a "Save the child" charity organization 😩🚶.”

An X user slammed the two rep adding, “Traitors to the USA,” and another wrote, “Can you guys please vote these two horrible people out. 🙄”

One more person called out Tlaib and Bush, “2 terrorists in the Biden government,” and another added, “WHY! WHY! Aren't these Anti-American Terrorist THUGS Not being REMOVED n THROWN OUT!! 👎👎👎👎👎👎."
