LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Fox News host Sean Hannity took aim at MSNBC host Stephanie Ruhle after her sit-down with Vice President and Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris on Wednesday, September 25.

Hannity criticized Ruhle for pretending to be a “journalist" but refrained from being critical of her apparent bias for Harris as he acknowledged his own bias toward former president Donald Trump.

Sean Hannity questions Stephanie Ruhle’s credibility after Kamala Harris interview

Stephanie Ruhle’s interview with Kamala Harris marked the Vice President's first one-on-one network interview since becoming the Democratic presidential nominee.

Hannity mocked Harris for her “bravery” in choosing to appear on a rival network, which he disparaged as "MSDNC" for its liberal leanings. He remarked that Ruhle’s interview lacked the intensity expected from a non-partisan reporter.

"Kamala Harris sat down for her first and only solo national interview — how brave — of the campaign, with, of course, one of her top supporters at MSDNC, Stephanie Ruhle," began Hannity his commentary on the Wednesday episode of 'Hannity'.

"Now, she is a big supporter of Kamala Harris. She is rooting for Kamala to win. That’s fine in my book. She is a radical, left-wing talk-show host. Needless to say, this was not a hard-hitting interview with a non-partisan reporter."

Hannity expressed a certain acceptance of bias in political journalism, admitting, “By the way, that’s okay. I interviewed Donald Trump, and I definitely want Donald Trump to win. I am not shy about it."

He, however, criticized Ruhle for not being transparent about her own biases.

“She fancies herself a journalist. She is not. She is a talk-show host like me. I am honest about who I am,” he asserted.

After her interview with Harris, Ruhle said the Vice President came across as “perfectly reasonable".

According to the Daily Beast, following the discussion, which covered various topics like the economy and immigration, Ruhle contrasted Harris’ coherent responses with those of her Republican opponent.

Ruhle noted, “What’s crazy is that Donald Trump gets so much credit... But much of what he says either doesn’t make sense or it’s not true.”

She praised Harris for providing clear policy positions, including that taxes wouldn't rise for Americans earning under $400,000 and highlighting various tax credits.

Ruhle said Harris' interview could help clarify her policies for voters, stating, “You might not have liked all her answers, but she had one for every single question.”

One person added,"Funny, but I didn't see Ruhle constantly stopping her to give her the correct answer. I've seen him do that with Donald."
