WASHINGTON, DC: During a cable news interview, former President Donald Trump aide and supporter Sebastian Gorka referred to Vice President Kamala Harris using the term "colored" and criticized her as a "DEI hire."

"Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion" (DEI) has become a divisive political topic among conservatives, with critics alleging it masks racial animosity. The term "DEI hire" has been used in critiques aimed at Vice President Kamala Harris, the first Black Vice President.

During the July 9 edition of Newsmax TV's 'Rob Schmitt Tonight,' host Rob Schmitt did not respond when Gorka criticized Vice President Kamala Harris as a "DEI hire" and subsequently used the term "colored" to describe her, Mediaite reported.

Gorka said, "It’s not up to Joe Biden! When the big donors say, you’re not getting a red cent. We are pulling the plug on the campaign, then the Democrats are going to say, Joe, what do you want?"

He added, "And right now, you know, Hunter is negotiating. I want a pardon. We want extra bags of cash. You’re going to give us sinecures. The hostage-takers are now negotiating for the presidency."

Schmitt remarked, "I mean, do these donors really think that Kamala Harris is going to do better in Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania than Joe Biden would? I mean, that’s the point, because it can’t. It can’t be anybody else, right?"

"Rob, you’re being logical. Stop it. All right. She’s a DEI hire, right? She’s a woman! She’s colored! Therefore she’s got to be good. And at least her brain doesn’t literally freeze in mid-sentence." Gorka responded.

Speaking with former Attorney General, Matthew George Whitaker, the host further questioned, "Yeah. Matt, your final thoughts? And what do you think about what Sebastian just alleged there?"

Whitaker replied, "Yeah, I think there’s been some pretty good analysis. And one of the main questions I keep getting is what’s going to happen to the money they’ve raised. And there’s been some analysis on that."

Internet criticizes Sebastian Gorka for his remarks about Kamala Harris

Social media users expressed outrage over Gorka's remarks about Harris, labeling them as "racist."

A political commentator, known for trolling Trump on social media, posted on X, previously known as Twitter, "Lunatic and apparently racist Sebastian Gorka just called Kamala Harris a 'colored' woman. Have some of these people just given up on trying to hide their racism?"

Another user added, "Former Trump aide Sebastian Gorka says Democrats only support Vice President Kamala Harris because 'she's a DEI hire,' 'she's a woman,' and 'she's colored.' From the racists who brought you an unqualified TV game show host and now a convicted felon."

A third commentator wrote, "This is the most overtly racist thing I've ever seen on television. Gorka just called Kamala Harris a 'DEI hire' and said 'she's colored."

"Yeah it’s terrible but not surprising, and also further proof that MAGA doesn’t care about Black people, specifically Black women. They’re nowhere near any list of potential GOP VP nominees," a person stated.

One wrote, "Sebastian Gorka lied about his ties to white supremacy groups. He should be deported!!!!"
