LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: ‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives' star Jen Affleck has reportedly decided to part ways with her husband, Zac Affleck, after seven years of marriage. The divorce filing came amid her fourth pregnancy, months after the reality TV personality announced that she was expecting another child.
Jen, 27, filed for divorce in the Fourth Judicial District Court in Provo, Utah, on Tuesday, November 3. Along with the divorce request, she filed documents outlining a proposed parenting plan, as reported by Entertainment Weekly. However, the details of either filing have not been released yet.

The TV personality and Zac first met through the Mormon dating app Mutual in 2018. They got married in 2019 after dating for a year.
The couple went on to welcome three children over the years: daughter Nora in November 2021, son Luca in July 2023, and daughter Penelope in July 2025.
Just months ago, Jen revealed that she was going to become a mother for the fourth time. Taking to her Instagram page in June, she posted photos of herself showing off her baby bump.
She captioned the pictures, “Chapter Four.”

The latest development comes after the Hulu series 'The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives' put their marriage and relationship struggles in the spotlight.
At the time of the premiere of the first season of the reality show in 2024, Jen spoke about the changes she expected to see in their relationship.
As reported by PEOPLE, she said, “If we continue in our relationship, there are changes that need to be made. If they’re not made, we might have to … look at other options. But as of right now, I do think he’s trying his best to make those changes.”
Then, during the second season in 2025, she shared, “We’re learning so much on the way, so only taking the positives right now. Right now I’m focusing on my mental health, my marriage and becoming the best version of myself that I can be.”
Jen Affleck questioned her future with Zac amid marital struggles
Although Jen and Zac appeared to be on good terms during seasons 3 and 4 of the series, their relationship struggles resurfaced in season 5.
During one of their disagreements, Jen spoke about wanting more independence and control over decisions in their marriage.
“At the end of the day, I want to feel like I have agency in our marriage and that you don’t control me and that I can make this decision,” Jen said after having a fight with Zac.
She also expressed uncertainty about their future together, adding, “Having this conversation is making me realize I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to go after what I actually want. It’s making me really question what our relationship will look like in the future.”
The divorce filing marks another major development in the couple's relationship, which has been documented on the Hulu reality series.
