LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Selma Blair has been arraigned and charged with two counts of second-degree assault following her arrest at JFK International Airport in New York. The charges stem from an alleged confrontation aboard a Delta Air Lines flight and subsequent incidents.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Blair is accused of attacking a police officer and a nurse following her arrest.
She appeared before a judge on Monday, who set her bail at $20,000 cash, $60,000 bond, or a $60,000 partially secured bond.
It remains unclear whether the actress entered a plea during her arraignment. Her next court date is scheduled for January 19, 2027.
The documents state that police were restraining Blair on a stretcher at JFK International Airport when she allegedly freed one of her legs and repeatedly kicked an officer in the face, neck, and chest.
The officer reportedly suffered jaw swelling and described experiencing “substantial pain” in her face, neck, and chest. A nurse treating Blair at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center early Monday morning also alleged that the actress kicked her in the chest while being transported for further treatment.
According to TMZ, Blair was arrested following an alleged confrontation with flight attendants aboard Delta Air Lines Flight 938. She also allegedly bit one flight attendant and punched another during the incident.
The New York Port Authority confirmed to Entertainment Weekly that its police department responded at approximately 11 pm ET to a report of a “physically abusive passenger aboard Delta Airlines flight 938.”
“Suspect was identified as Selma Blair, a 54 year-old woman. She was taken into custody and transported to the hospital for evaluation,” the Port Authority stated.
It added that two flight attendants had reported injuries, with one taken to a hospital for further evaluation, and confirmed that the FBI was investigating the incident.

The FBI also confirmed that it was examining a potential assault aboard the aircraft, stating that it had been informed of the incident by the Port Authority Police Department.
The agency declined to comment further on the ongoing investigation.
Dispatch audio obtained by TMZ reportedly captured officials requesting medical personnel at the gate following reports of minor injuries, including a bloody nose and bite marks. The audio also mentioned that the passenger required medical attention after allegedly bashing her head against a bulkhead.
Delta confirmed that paramedics and law enforcement officers met Blair and the injured flight attendants upon landing.
The airline stated that it had “zero tolerance for unruly or unlawful behavior” and noted that the flight landed ahead of schedule without any operational impact.
A representative for Blair told TMZ that the actress had experienced a medical emergency that led to the alleged conduct. She received immediate medical attention upon landing and was in stable condition.
Blair previously experienced an in-flight incident in 2016, when she reportedly blacked out after accidentally mixing medication with alcohol during a flight from Cancun to Los Angeles.
She apologized in a statement to Vanity Fair, explaining that she had been traveling with her son and his father, Jason Bleick, before mixing the substances.
