Darrell Sheets’ ‘Storage Wars’ legacy and tributes from co-stars

Sheets was widely recognized for his role on Storage Wars, appearing in 163 episodes between 2010 and 2023. Known as “The Gambler” for his high-risk bidding style, he became a prominent figure on the show, which followed professional buyers competing for abandoned storage units.

“We are saddened by the passing of a beloved member of our ‘Storage Wars’ family, Darrell ‘The Gambler’ Sheets. Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time,” a spokesperson for A&E told People in a statement.

Following his television career, Sheets retired to Arizona, where he ran an antique store called “Havasu Show Me Your Junk.”

In one of the photos, Passante was seen smiling while Sheets playfully pointed at her. She noted that she had known him for many years and was now “at a loss for words.”
