'Such a woman's woman': Kyle Richards recalls heartfelt interaction with Rihanna, says singer gave her 'amazing advice' about marriage

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kyle Richards recently revealed an interaction with Rihanna in December 2023 during a holiday visit to Aspen, Colorado.

During her conversation on SiriusXM's 'Let's Talk Off Camera With Kelly Ripa', the television personality recounted the unexpected meeting she had with the iconic singer who gave her wise counsel on marriage and life, according to ET.

Kyle Richards recounts how she met Rihanna

The encounter took place at the luxury Western apparel store Kemo Sabe, where Richards and Rihanna were present before the holiday season.

"I never forgot how sweet that was," Richards told host Ripa of the first interaction she had with Rihanna.

"[The store] was closed for her because it was like 9.30 at night, and I was like, 'Oh, well, will you tell her I know that she's a fan of the show?' Because she stopped my daughter once and tapped my daughter on the shoulder when she was with a group of her friends and my daughter turned around," she wrote.

"It was Rihanna and she said, 'I just want you to know that I'm obsessed with you and your family, and I love you guys so much.' And my daughter started crying," she said.

Kyle Richards says Rihanna was 'incredibly supportive'

After Richard revealed her marital struggles, the 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' met the 'Diamonds' singer as Rihanna wanted to meet Richard to give her valuable insight into her marital issues and criticism.

"She was giving me all kinds of amazing advice about my marriage, the women, how we're handling things and she was the cutest thing," the television personality said of Rihanna.

Speaking about the counsel she received, Richards said Rihanna's advice, "resonated deeply with her."

"She said, 'Next time one of these women want to know all the details of the intimacies of your marriage, tell them 'Why do I need to give you the blueprint to my home when I'm already renovated?'" she recounted.

"Oh my god, but I don't know if that's bad I repeated it or not, but I was like, 'This woman is so smart. She's such a woman's woman.' She was so incredibly supportive and sweet and just such a beautiful person just inside and out," Kyle continued.

In September 2023, the reality star was separated from Mauricio Umansky.

Richards and Umansky, who initially denied reports of their split, later went public about their breakup and shared that they were not ready to discuss the separation.
