'They aren't looking back': Kate Middleton and Prince William have 'moved on' from Meghan and Harry feud
LONDON, UK: The royal family has seen much drama for the past few years after Meghan Markle and Prince Harry announced their departure from the UK in 2020 to start a new life in the US.
Since then, many allegations and accusations have been made against the royals, including Prince William and Kate Middleton, by the Sussexes.
Kate Middleton is ‘very focused on what matters’
However, now it seems the Prince and Princess of Wales have gone ahead of the drama and their focus is now only on the well-being of the monarchy.
A pal of Kate shared, as reported by People, “She's moved on and William has too. She's very focused on what matters going forward. They aren't looking back.”
Kate and William are the future Queen and the King of London and as per an insider Catherine “takes things seriously — and thank goodness for that.”
Former Buckingham Palace communications chief Simon Lewis mentioned, “She’s very much seen as a player at the center of team Windsor.”
Kate Middleton is ‘strong-minded, strong-willed’
Royal biographer Sally Bedell Smith noted, “She is carving out a special place for herself, which is celebratory.”
Besides, royal author Valentine Low added, “She has this public image of being nice and smiley and, dare I say, innocuous. But she is actually strong-minded, strong-willed, and prepared to fight for what she wants and what she thinks is right.”
Kate Middleton thinks 'strategically’
As per reports, one example of Kate being strong-minded and strong-willed was when a statement was released by Buckingham Palace following Meghan and Harry’s explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey.
In the 2021 sit-down, the former senior royals accused some royal family members of being concerned about “how dark" their firstborn's "skin might be when he's born”.
But a short statement by Buckingham Palace read, “The issues raised, particularly that of race, are concerning. While some recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately.”
It has been said that Kate played a major role in that statement.
Low noted, “She thought it was very important this did not go unchallenged. She showed real strength and determination to make things clear that there was perhaps a different truth.”
He also asserted, “Kate thinks strategically. She is going to be queen one day and has the long-term interests of the monarchy and royal family at heart.”
