JUPITER ISLAND, FLORIDA: Golf legend Tiger Woods was involved in a rollover car crash in Florida on Friday, March 27, according to news reports.

The incident reportedly took place on Jupiter Island, near Woods’ longtime residence, with early accounts suggesting that while the crash looked serious, there were no immediate signs of major injuries. Authorities have yet to confirm what led to the accident.

An eyewitness at the scene told TMZ about the situation, saying it appeared two vehicles were involved and that one SUV had overturned onto its side.

Despite the dramatic visuals, the same eyewitness noted that Woods was seen at the scene and “appeared to be okay,” offering some initial reassurance amid the uncertainty.

Images from local media showed the vehicle lying on the driver’s side near a flatbed truck, adding to the intensity of the scene.

Authorities have not yet released an official statement on injuries or the sequence of events that led to the crash.

President Trump also commented on the accident and said, "I feel so bad...really close friend of mine, amazing person, amazing man. He's got some difficulty."

Fans pray for Tiger Woods' safety

The incident comes at a time when Woods has been slowly working his way back into competitive golf following a series of serious injuries.

He has been recovering from a ruptured Achilles tendon suffered just over a year ago, along with back surgery later in the year.

He was also involved in a car crash in 2021.

That incident left him with severe leg injuries and required extensive surgery and rehabilitation, raising serious questions at the time about whether he would ever return to professional golf.

Fans rushed to Tiger Woods' social media accounts after reports of the crash and began praying for his safety
