WASHINGTON, DC: Tim Scott has been bashed online after he called out Chelsea Handler for one of her old videos that has resurfaced recently.

Reposting the clip of Handler, Scott tweeted, “Yes, by all means, please tell another Black man how to think, White lady.”

Chelsea Handler asked 50 Cent to not influence voters

As reported by Fox News, the comedian’s footage was from 2020 when she gave a virtual interview to Jimmy Fallon on the ‘Tonight Show’.

During the interview, she reportedly said, referring to 50 Cent, whom she dated for some time in 2011, “And I had to remind him that he was a Black person, so he can't vote for Donald Trump.”

At the time, she added, “He shouldn't be influencing an entire swathe of people who may listen to him because he's worried about his own personal pocketbook.”

Internet calls Tim Scott ‘an embarrassing partisan hack’

But the 58-year-old’s outburst has attracted negative attention for him as an X user tweeted, “I’m pretty sure Trump tells you what to think.”

Another user agreed as they wrote, “Trump tells you how to think.”

“Can’t wait to hear what you have to say about this white man saying that ‘100% of the black people should vote for Trump,’” the third user stated.

The fourth user commented, “You only take that type of directions from white men huh!”

The fifth one noted, “Trump told all Jews they should be ashamed of themselves if they don’t vote for him. So, unless you condemn that too, you will continue to be an embarrassing partisan hack.”

“So white folks aren’t allowed to speak to black people now? Is this the new Jim Crow?🐦‍⬛” an individual asked.

Another individual stated, “You may be a black man, but you stopped caring for, representing, or identifying with real black men a long time ago. Signed Real Black Men.”

“Oh god Tim don’t even get me started with you,” a tweet read.

The second tweet was “No such thing as Black voters they people that vote how they want and differently to what you the media want.”

Meanwhile, this came after last month, Scott expressed his anger towards ‘The View’ and the show’s hosts after they made fun of his career.

He said, as reported by Fox News, “Women of the View: My goodness gracious. Let me just be plain and simple. Without the Black vote, there is no Democratic Party. And since I was elected in 2010 to Congress, before that, no Black Republicans [in Congress]. But since then, there's been seven.”
