NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Actor Timothee Chalamet and UK rapper EsDeeKid have teamed up for a surprising remix of the viral song “4 Raws.”

The collaboration comes as a response to months of online speculation and rumors linking the Hollywood star to the mysterious rapper.

'4 Raws’ remix brings Timothee Chalamet and EsDeeKid together

In the clip shared on Instagram by both artists, the duo dons EsDeeKid’s signature hoodies and bandanas, keeping his face deliberately hidden.

The remix dropped as a surprise release and unites the Hollywood actor and the masked UK rapper in a music‑centric answer to wild fan theories suggesting they might be the same person.

At one point, Chalamet pulls back his hoodie to rap boastful verses referencing his Hollywood career and his real-life girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, whose billionaire status has attracted widespread attention.

“It’s Timothée Chalamet chillin’, tryin’ to stack $100 million / Girl got a billion / What the f***, what a wonderful feeling,” he raps.

He later adds, “My life is an opera, look at the Oscars, look at the groupies, look at the movies.” He also references his new movie, “Marty Supreme,” multiple times in the song.

Timothee Chalamet’s connection to EsDeeKid and rapping

The rumors stemmed from online speculation and internet chatter about Chalamet’s possible double life as an underground rapper.

Rumors that Chalamet might be the secret identity of EsDeeKid began shortly after the rapper’s debut album, 'Rebel,' was released in June.

Hailing from Liverpool, the rapper has experienced a rapid rise in recent years, thanks to breakout tracks like “Bally”, “LV Sandals” and “Phantom.”

Fans online have noted the striking similarity between the eyes of both artists.

When Chalamet was directly asked to address the rumors during a December 11 interview on the British radio program 'Heart Breakfast', he chose to play coy.

“I got no comment on that… All will be revealed in due time,” he said.

Chalamet, meanwhile, is known for his ties to music, having portrayed Bob Dylan in last year’s 'A Complete Unknown' and showcased his singing in “Wonka.” The actor has also experimented with a rapper persona in the past.

In a viral 2012 video, he can be seen performing under the name Lil Timmy Tim at an event at his former high school, LaGuardia High School in New York City.

He has even playfully referenced his former rap alter ego in several 'Saturday Night Live' sketches.
