LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Hollywood’s latest power couple has quietly called it quits. According to insiders, Tom Cruise and Ana de Armas have ended their nine-month relationship but remain close friends and professional collaborators.

Sources told The Sun that while their relationship had been “fun and affectionate,” the pair ultimately decided they were “better off as mates.”

“Tom and Ana had a good time together, but their time as a couple has run its course,” an insider said. “They are going to remain good friends, but they aren’t dating anymore. They just realized they weren’t going to go the distance and that they are better off as mates.”

Tom Cruise and Ana de Armas continue professional collaboration

Despite the breakup, Cruise, 63, and de Armas, 37, will continue to work together on upcoming projects.

The Knives Out actress has been cast in Cruise’s next supernatural thriller, ‘Deeper,’ which remains on both their schedules despite a production delay. They were also reportedly in talks for a second collaboration, a project tentatively titled ‘Pressure.’

Insiders described their working relationship as easygoing and respectful. “The spark had gone between them, but they still love each other’s company and they’ve both been really adult about it,” another source told The Sun.

A whirlwind romance across continents

The pair’s romance began in February and quickly became one of Hollywood’s most-watched love stories. They were first spotted together on a series of intimate dinner dates before being photographed hand in hand during a weekend getaway in Vermont in late July. Earlier, Cruise had whisked Ana away to Madrid on his private jet in April.

Their relationship also made headlines when they attended David Beckham’s 50th birthday party in Notting Hill together in May and later danced at an Oasis concert at Wembley Stadium. They even took a romantic yacht vacation off the coast of Spain during the summer.

Cruise was said to have been “incredibly thoughtful” during their relationship, often surprising Ana with extravagant gifts. “He has been showering Ana with gifts ever since they met,” a source told the Daily Mail. “There has been jewelry like gold bracelets and designer clothing… probably the biggest gift he has given her is being able to go anywhere in the world at a moment’s notice.”

Ana De Armas moves on after split

Following the breakup, de Armas has been spotted mingling with several high-profile figures. Earlier this month, she was seen leaving a Santa Monica gym with Top Gun: Maverick star Miles Teller, though they left separately. During Paris Fashion Week, Ana posed for photos with a mystery man and was later seen partying with Bad Bunny in Puerto Rico in September.
