LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Tom Holland and Robert Pattinson's off-screen friendship is once again in the spotlight as the actors reunite for Christopher Nolan's 'The Odyssey'.

Although Holland shares the film with his longtime partner, Zendaya, he revealed that it was Pattinson who became his "safety blanket" during filming. The two have worked together before, making Pattinson's familiar presence a source of comfort on one of Hollywood's biggest upcoming productions.

"Having a familiar face and someone that I could share the screen with was a real safety blanket for me," Holland said. He added, "I'm always eager to share scenes with Rob, because he just brings the best out of everyone."

The actor also praised Pattinson's approach to acting, saying, "I admire his ability to take big swings and make them feel like the perfect decision for that character."

Holland and Pattinson's friendship dates back nearly a decade. The Marvel and DC stars first worked together in the 2016 adventure drama 'The Lost City of Z' before reuniting in the psychological thriller 'The Devil All the Time'. 'The Odyssey' marks their third collaboration.

Who do Tom Holland, Robert Pattinson and Zendaya play in 'The Odyssey'?

Nolan's 'The Odyssey' features an ensemble cast led by Matt Damon as Odysseus, the legendary Greek hero whose long journey home forms the heart of the epic.

Holland stars as Telemachus, the son of Odysseus and Penelope (Anne Hathaway). Throughout the story, Telemachus embarks on his own journey in search of his father, who has been missing for years after the Trojan War.

Pattinson plays Antinous, one of the most powerful and manipulative suitors vying for Penelope's hand during Odysseus' absence. His character is a major antagonist, standing in direct opposition to Telemachus as he attempts to protect his family and reclaim his father's legacy.
