LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre faced criticism from conservative commentator Tomi Lahren after evading a question regarding President Biden's recent gaffe, where he confused French President Emmanuel Macron with the late Francois Mitterrand.

Tomi Lahren voices frustration over Joe Biden's gaffe

Lahren shared a tweet expressing frustration, stating, "He's our damn president, go down the freaking rabbit hole!!!" The incident occurred during a campaign stop in Las Vegas, prompting Fox News' Peter Doocy to question how Biden can reassure concerned voters about his physical and mental health.

Jean-Pierre deflected the query, stating, "I'm not even going to go down that rabbit hole with you, sir."

Karine Jean-Pierre faces scrutiny over Biden's limited interviews

During the press conference, Jean-Pierre faced further inquiries about Biden's limited interviews compared to his predecessors.

"You saw the president in Vegas, in California. You’ve seen the president in South Carolina. You saw him in Michigan. I’ll just leave it there," Jean-Pierre said.

When questioned about the absence of a press conference during Biden's meeting with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and no Super Bowl interview, Jean-Pierre emphasized the president's communication through "nontraditional ways."

"It just seems, again, like we’re in one of these instances where the president is not communicating with the press," the reporter said.

"Stay tuned. That is the answer for you," Jean-Pierre replied.

"The president will find many other ways to communicate with Americans, the millions of Americans out there," Jean-Pierre said. "And we will find those ways to do it, where we think the time is right, said Jean Pierre.

She defended the decision not to participate in a Super Bowl interview, citing the preference for enjoying the game and promising alternative means of reaching the American public.

Criticism mounts against Karine Jean-Pierre's handling of questions

Public sentiment on social media reflects growing dissatisfaction with White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre's responses during the press conference.

One user said, "KJP won't go down the rabbit hole. She knows she would be fired if she did. She was not hired to address issues. She was hired to avoid them."

Another added, "Remember this, when Cheeto was so much younger, 7 years ago? "Frederick Douglass is an example of somebody who's done an amazing job and is being recognized more and more, I notice."

One replied, "What a coward of a press agent. Never thought I'd miss the redhead. Same lies, but at least she didn't stumble as bad as this one."

"DOOCY is the best reporter in that group. He asks REAL questions!," Said one
