LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: In a recent monologue on 'Tomi Lahren is Fearless', conservative commentator Tomi Lahren took aim at what she perceives as the current state of modern-day feminism.

Lahren singled out prominent figures like E Jean Carroll, Rachel Maddow, and the hosts of 'The View', criticizing their reactions to the court's decision ordering Donald Trump to pay $83 million in damages to Carroll for defamation.

A victory for women's rights or shallow triumph?

Lahren expressed concern not only about the court's decision but also about the feminist narrative surrounding it. She highlighted the celebratory tone and what she sees as a misplaced focus on trivial matters, particularly the excitement over beating Trump.

"They are just so damn excited about this verdict that may very well get overturned on appeal, but beyond that, beyond the verdict and their excitement about beating Donald Trump, what I find most egregious here is that these women count all of this as a victory for women's rights," quipped Lahren.

Tomi Lahren claims feminism is overshadowed by 'Trump Derangement Syndrome'

The commentator played clips from various shows, mocking the women for their jubilant reactions and discussing how they plan to use the money, including shopping sprees and extravagant purchases. Lahren emphasized her belief that this case while troubling in itself, reveals deeper issues within modern feminism.

"This is their bar for women, and their bar for the entire notion of feminism. This is how shallow feminism has become in the last 10 years thanks in large part to Trump derangement syndrome," She added.

In Lahren's view, the feminist movement has deviated from its original goals, overshadowed by what she calls "Trump Derangement Syndrome."

She argued that contemporary feminism seems more interested in bashing Trump, discussing celebrity news, and trivial pursuits rather than addressing substantive issues related to women's rights.

Lahren pointed out the apparent shallowness of the current feminist agenda, citing the celebration of Taylor Swift's every move and the fixation on pop culture rather than meaningful societal changes.

She said, "Fighting the good fight for the feminists of today consists of bashing Trump, crying over Barbie movie award snubs, and endless admiration of Taylor Swift's every breath and movement."

A detour from crucial women's issues

According to Lahren, the movement has lost sight of crucial issues such as women's sports, spaces, and equal opportunities.

The conservative commentator concluded by expressing her disappointment in what she perceives as a sad state of feminism and its "phony gatekeepers." For Lahren, the focus on abortion and bashing Trump represents a skewed and shallow agenda that fails to address the broader challenges facing women today.

"Things that would actually matter and matter to the founders of feminism have been swept under the rug in favor of, let's be honest, the patriarchy."

Twitter users react

The responses on Twitter to Tomi Lahren's recent commentary reflect the deep divisions in public opinion. From personal jabs targeting Lahren's appearance to political predictions and defenses of former President Trump,

One user wrote, "Your hair is phony for that matter."

Another added, "Republicans just want a little common sense applied here .Only difference is you might have to drive an extra 10 minutes. VS Liberals want to drive a nail through the scull to get rich of the body parts."

One commented, "Her ignorance and stupidity is not our problem, but I’m stoked that her trump derangement will bring her to her knees when Trump wins by a landslide in the 2024 presidential nomination!."

Another replied, "President Trump loves American babies and doesn't want to kill them!"

"Conservatives are taking women's rights. And it's not just that. Conservatives are threatening WOMEN'S LIVES if they can't get an abortion, if they GET an abortion, if they TRAVEL to get healthcare, if they have a MISCARRIAGE. And you think it ends THERE?" one user questioned
