WASHINGTON, DC: A top matchmaker is already playing cupid in case Donald Trump and Melania Trump ever decide to throw in the towel.

Trump’s dating history reads like a modeling agency’s Christmas party guest list. From beauty queens to reality stars, the president has never struggled to land a date. But despite tying the knot with Melania in 2005, rumors about their “cold war” marriage never quite go away.

According to Nicki Swift, first lady Melania might be plotting a solo escape route, potentially leaving Donald in the dust and on the lookout for another high-value companion to trot out at Mar-a-Lago functions.

Celebrity matchmaker Susan Trombetti has some ideas about who could fill Melania’s Louboutins.

Who could be Donald Trump’s next first lady?

If Melania says goodbye, Donald Trump won’t be crying for long. But choosing his next arm candy isn’t just about looks (though that’s a big part of it).

Susan Trombetti, CEO of Exclusive Matchmaking, told Nicki Swift that Trump tends to gravitate toward his polar opposite.

“Donald seems to like the opposite of himself, think of elegant but reserved Melania. They are so opposite,” she dished. “He likes beautiful, smart, involved, and very polished women.”

The next Mrs Trump would need a built-in skill set for reining him in. According to Trombetti, only a few women can talk him off the ledge, and they’re already in his inner circle. “Both Melania and Ivanka can sway him at his worst moment, and he usually listens,” she explained. “That’s what he needs.”

Andrea Catsimatidis, the NYC socialite and daughter of billionaire supermarket mogul John Catsimatidis, is on Trombetti’s shortlist. “She is a Republican and a socialite from NYC, so she fits right in,” Trombetti pointed out. “Given that he likes beautiful women, he could take his pick. Someone like Ivanka could do well.”

Melania Trump's potential match

As for Melania Trump, her dating pool is a very different shade of gold. Trombetti told Nicki Swift that the first lady needs someone far away from the media circus.

“I would pair Melania with a Rupert Murdoch type, but younger,” she said. “She values privacy, wealth, stability, and family. She needs someone ultra-rich who treats her like she is the prize. Another businessman, or a famous CEO, would work well for her.”

Trombetti believes another CEO who isn’t a Trump-style showman would be ideal, someone Melania has something in common.

However, replacing Melania wouldn’t exactly be a walk in the park. Trump’s past is bursting with bombshells, from Miss Universe contestants to tabloid-fodder affairs. He’s been caught in enough cheating scandals to fuel a month of Lifetime movies.

Let’s not forget his alleged affair with Playboy model Karen McDougal and his very public courtroom drama involving adult film star Stormy Daniels. Those headlines dominated the news cycle for years. While most wives would’ve called up celebrity divorce lawyer Laura Wasser the second that court sketch dropped, Melania remained completely unbothered.

According to Trombetti, there’s a survival guide for any woman who wants to avoid destroying her marriage. “Keep it private, don’t discuss previous relationships,” she advised. “And make sure you have more in common, that you don’t live such separate lives, because it would bring you happiness.”
