Travis Kelce calls wedding to Taylor Swift 'best night of my life' in first public remarks
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Travis Kelce fielded questions about his wife, Taylor Swift, in his first public comments about their wedding at Madison Square Garden (MSG) on July 3.
He called his wedding to Swift “the best night of my life” and expressed appreciation for those who attended the celebration and had fun. Kelce made the rare comments to reporters during Kansas City Chiefs training camp in Missouri. He also publicly referred to Swift as his “wife” for the first time.

While the press interaction mainly focused on his position and the team's practice session, some questions centered on the grand wedding, which continues to generate buzz nearly two months later.
“It was a fun off-season, man. The wedding was the best night of my life, and I appreciate everybody who came out and celebrated and had fun with us,” he said. “It was a crazy night,” Kelce shared. “It was full of a lot of celebration.”
“I always told myself I’d go for a playoff game when the (New York) Knicks were rocking,” he said. “My wife went when I was stuck in training camp. I didn’t get my opportunity to go then,” he continued.

“It was cool to live out my childhood dream of being in that venue, the mecca of all sports venues,” Kelce said. “To be able to get married there. I thanked the owners of MSG for allowing us the opportunity to do that, knowing that we wanted a private event, and it was perfect,” he shared.
Jokingly, he also praised the arena's AC system. "The AC was cookin’ baby," he added. "That was the best part.”
