Kylie Kelce reveals why Jason Kelce got emotional at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kylie Kelce has revealed why her husband Jason Kelce became emotional during Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s July 3 wedding.

The retired NFL star had previously admitted that he “probably cried more at this wedding than I cried at my own wedding, which probably is not acceptable.” He also joked that “Kylie is probably not happy about that” during an interview on SportsRadio 94WIP.

Kylie addressed Jason’s emotional reaction during Thursday’s episode of her ‘Not Gonna Lie’ podcast, clarifying that her husband had also been moved during their own wedding.

“Don’t worry, my husband cried plenty at his own wedding — regardless of what his comments were recently,” Kylie told listeners.

Jason and Kylie tied the knot in 2018 and share four daughters: Wyatt Elizabeth, Elliotte Ray, Bennett Llewellyn, and Finnley Anne.

Kylie said Jason’s emotional nature was not surprising because he often expresses his feelings openly.

“Guys, think about this. First of all, there was a moment in time where I said if he didn’t tear up when I started walking down the aisle, I would go back and start again, knowing that someone would have obviously punched him in the nose between me restarting and he would have been crying when I walked down the aisle,” she explained.

The 34-year-old media personality added that Jason “cried during our wedding. I think that goes without saying because he’s cried a couple other places because he feels his emotions, okay?”

Kylie explained that Jason had several reasons to feel emotional while attending his brother’s wedding ceremony at Madison Square Garden.

“He cried at his brother’s wedding for many reasons. It was touching. It was very loving to see all of the things that were happening, but take this into consideration — because no one’s thinking about this — think about getting to watch your four daughters be flower girls. Okay? That’s all the information you get,” Kylie said.

She also admitted that Jason was not the only person in their family who became emotional as Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce exchanged vows.

“It was emotional and he was not the only adult crying in our family. Guilty. Mmkay? Come on. Be for real,” she revealed.

Jason had previously spoken about his daughters being part of the wedding ceremony and shared his happiness about the special moment.

“Obviously my daughters are incredible. They’re beautiful, they’re incredible personalities. And Travis and Taylor love them,” he told the Reno Gazette Journal.

“So, very happy we were able to be a part of it. And more importantly, very happy for those two. It was an amazing day,” he added.
