Adam Sandler reveals he 'gets a little jumpy' around Taylor Swift
As early as in February, during an episode of the 'Needs a Friend' podcast, Adam Sandler opened up to Conan O’Brien about how he reacts when meeting celebrities, especially those who are huge idols for his daughters.
The 57-year-old actor, who shares daughters Sadie, 17, and Sunny, 15, with his wife Jackie Sandler, admitted that there's one star who leaves him particularly flustered.
"You know what, Taylor Swift, because what she means to my kids, I get a little jumpy. Just cause I don’t wanna blow it for my kids," Sandler confessed. "So I’m a little like, ‘Taylor, Taylor,’ like I talk a little too loud or something. I don’t stay as cool as I can."
O’Brien playfully teased, “You yell her name outside her house. Taylor!” Sandler laughed and replied, "Talk to me," as People reported.
Agreeing with Sandler, O’Brien remarked, “She’s this whole other level now."
Back then, Sandler also praised Swift's music, likening it to that of The Beatles, and shared that his daughters have memorized all of her songs.
“People talk about The Beatles of it all and her. I mean, so many smash hits. There’s not a word my kids don’t know,” he said.
