LAS VEGAS, NEVADA: Trisha Yearwood is standing by her husband Garth Brooks during a challenging time in their nearly two-decade-long marriage.

The relationship of the country music power couple has come under intense scrutiny after Brooks, 62, was sued by his former hairstylist, who alleges that he raped her in a hotel room in 2019.

Trisha Yearwood supports Garth Brooks amid sexual assault allegations against him

The allegations against Garth Brooks also include claims that he asked for a threesome involving Trisha Yearwood and the plaintiff.

“It’s heartbreaking for Trisha," a source shared with In Touch, noting how deeply the scandal has affected the 'She's in Love With the Boy' singer.

"She loves Garth more than anything — she never expected this," the source added.

Despite the seriousness of the accusations, Yearwood, 60, continues to be a strong source of support for her husband, whom she married in 2005.

Yearwood's friends have rallied around her, encouraging her to remain strong and support Brooks as he confronts these serious allegations. It appears she is taking their advice to heart.

Just days after the lawsuit became public, Yearwood shared a photo on Instagram of herself and Brooks performing together during his Las Vegas residency on October 7.

The heartfelt caption read, "Love One Another," demonstrating her solidarity during this challenging time.

"For the last two months, I have been hassled to no end with threats, lies, and tragic tales of what my future would be if I did not write a check for many millions of dollars," Brooks stated, as previously reported. "It has been like having a loaded gun waved in my face. Hush money, no matter how much or how little, is still hush money."

He added, "In my mind, that means I am admitting to behavior I am incapable of — ugly acts no human should ever do to another."

Brooks openly voiced his frustration, affirming his innocence and stating that he will not pay to settle claims he deems unfounded.

Despite the legal issues looming over him, Garth Brooks remained dedicated to his fans. He performed at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on the same day the lawsuit was filed.

After the show, Brooks expressed his gratitude on social media, saying, "If there was ever a night that I really needed this, TONIGHT was that night! Thank you for my life!!!!! love, g."



 

His emotional message underscored how significant the support of his fans was to him during this tumultuous time.

Brooks' Las Vegas concert residency, Garth Brooks/Plus ONE, is scheduled to continue through 2025, and despite the lawsuit, he shows no signs of slowing down.

As for Yearwood, she remains a steadfast anchor for her husband.



 

In Touch spoke to a source close to the couple, shedding light on Yearwood’s personal turmoil amidst the lawsuit.

While it has been incredibly challenging, she is determined to stand by Brooks, demonstrating the strength of their bond even amid intense public scrutiny. Brooks, for his part, remains steadfast.

In a heartfelt statement, he expressed his desire to continue spreading goodwill while addressing the doubts surrounding his character.

"I want to play music tonight. I want to continue our good deeds going forward. It breaks my heart these wonderful things are in question now. I trust the system, I do not fear the truth, and I am not the man they have painted me to be," Brooks reportedly declared in his statement.
