WASHINGTON, D.C.: President Donald Trump was allegedly handed millions in donations from his Cabinet members, a new report released on Tuesday, March 24, claimed. The Republican leader has 23 Cabinet members, out of which 20 have reportedly given significant amounts of money to him.

The Swamp, The Daily Beast's Substack, mentioned, “Donald Trump has another good reason to keep praising his Cabinet members as they continue their relentless sucking up through his second term — they are putting their money where their mouths are by lining the president's pockets.”

Linda McMahon is the biggest donor to Trump

The report claimed that the biggest donation to Trump was made by former WWE wrestling boss and Education Secretary Linda McMahon, who reportedly gave $20 million in donation. Another big donor is Trump’s New York pal Howard Lutnick, who gave $10 million. “Perhaps the Cabinet runs on a sliding scale—the less they give, the more they need to grovel,” the outlet stated.

Additionally, as per Citizens for Ethics, a nonprofit government watchdog organization, the POTUS was offered at least $30 million via political contributions, property visits, stock holdings, and donations to White House-related funds since 2023 by his 20 Cabinet members.

JD Vance among many who donated to Trump-aligned 2024 groups

Prominent names that made political contributions towards Trump-aligned 2024 groups are — Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, outgoing Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, US Trade Rep. Jamieson Greer, McMahon, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer, Energy Secretary Chris Wright, Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins, Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lee Zeldin, Small Business Administration Administrator Kelly Loeffler, and White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles.

Besides, Lutnick along with Loeffler, even allegedly donated money to Trump’s $400 million White House ballroom project. The exact amount given by them is not known, “but this seemingly pay-to-play project has raised serious ethics concerns,” Citizens for Ethics added.

Pete Hegseth, Pam Bondi, and Kennedy Jr are not known to have made donations to Trump

Meanwhile, the substack reported that three important members of Trump’s cabinet, who apparently did not make any donations were, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Attorney General Pam Bondi, and Health Secretary Robert F Kennedy Jr.

But the Citizens for Ethics report claimed that Bondi was the holder of stock in Trump Media & Technology Group. She owned “106,000 shares as of late 2024 and was required to sell them within 90 days of her confirmation. She sold between $1 million and $5 million worth of Trump Media shares in early April 2025."
