Trump blames France school protests on 'out-of-control mass migration' and Islam
WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump pointed to "out-of-control mass migration” and Islam as the real cause of the mass student protests in France, dismissing the protesters’ concerns about deteriorating conditions in schools.
On Tuesday, Trump wrote on Truth Social that the demonstrations had nothing to do with education. He insisted they were driven by issues with Islam and unchecked migration. The protests started because students were fed up with staff shortages, crumbling school buildings, and packed classrooms.
Student protests spread across France
In a Truth Social post, Trump said, “What’s happening in France is nothing less than out of control mass migration. This isn’t about schools, this is about Islam wanting to take over a once great Country!”

The protests kicked off last week and quickly reached schools across France. Students are speaking out, highlighting the problems they say make it harder and harder to get a decent education.
For the most part, things have stayed peaceful, but a few violent incidents broke out. Two boys suffered serious injuries, one lost his hand, and another lost sight in one eye.
These injuries have only added to public worry about the way police are dealing with the protests.
With pressure mounting, Prime Minister Sebastien Lecornu stood by the police response on Tuesday, even as officials faced more criticism over the situation.
🚨 IT'S OFFICIAL: FRANCE IS FALLING to Islamist and leftist rioters, and President Trump calls it "mass migration [and] ISLAM wanting to take over a once-great country" STRAIGHT TRUTH FROM POTUS 💯 They opened the floodgates. Now the streets are PURE 3RD WORLD Europe ignored the warning. America under Trump will NOT because we will VOTE RED The solution is always mass deportations and shutting the border tight!

Trump ties France protests to his immigration agenda
Trump’s comments on the protests came less than a month before the midterms, in which his party’s control of the House and Senate are on the line.
His claim that the student protests are a result of mass migration comes as he urges voters to elect GOP candidates to Congress so he can continue his anti-immigration and aggressive deportation agenda.
He’s pushing hard for voters to keep Republicans in charge of Congress, insisting it’s the only way he can continue with his immigration and deportation agenda.
Meanwhile, France has its own political turmoil. Parties there are jockeying for position before the spring elections, as they look to challenge President Emmanuel Macron’s center-right government. The uncertainty in French politics adds another layer to the charged atmosphere on both sides of the Atlantic.
France school protests draw international attention
A social media post about the demonstrations highlighted the scale of the protests, saying riot police fired tear gas in Paris as tens of thousands marched over teacher shortages, long school days, and crumbling facilities.
The post claimed around 891 high schools had classes partially or fully suspended, while authorities expected up to 40,000 protesters in the capital alone.

Trump’s intervention adds an international dimension to the debate, linking France’s school protests to issues that have been central to his own political agenda in the United States.
