AUSTIN, TEXAS: Former president Donald Trump has launched a fierce attack on Joe Rogan following the podcaster's clarification that he did not endorse Robert F Kennedy Jr for 2024 president.

The controversy erupted after social media influencers and Trump supporters criticized Rogan for seemingly supporting Kennedy's candidacy, prompting Rogan to address the backlash and clarify his position.

Joe Rogan took to X to clarify his remarks about Robert F Kennedy Jr was not an endorsement but rather an expression of admiration for the latter's approach and "intelligence."

"For the record, this isn’t an endorsement. This is me saying that I like RFK [Jr] as a person, and I really appreciate the way he discusses things with civility and intelligence. I think we could use more of that in this world," the conservative comedian posted on Friday, August 9.

"I also think Trump raising his fist and saying 'fight!' after getting shot is one of the most American f***ing things of all time. I’m not the guy to get political information from," Rogan added.

Donald Trump seemingly noticed the uproar and fired back with a sharp critique on Truth Social.

The twice-impeached former president questioned Rogan’s future reception in the UFC, writing, "It will be interesting to see how loudly Joe Rogan gets BOOED the next time he enters the UFC Ring??? MAGA2024." Although, it’s unclear if Trump had seen Rogan’s clarification before posting his comment.

Joe Rogan criticizes both parties and praises Robert F Kennedy Jr

During a discussion with YouTube sensation Sam Gymlan on his podcast, 'The Joe Rogan Experience', Joe Rogan criticized Democrats and Republicans for their tactics and expressed support for Robert F Kennedy Jr. “That’s just what they do. That’s politics. They do it on the left, they do it on the right,” he claimed.

“They gaslight you, they manipulate you, they promote narratives, and the only one who is not doing that is Robert F Kennedy Jr,” Rogan remarked. He described Kennedy as “the only candidate that makes sense to me,” adding, “He doesn’t attack people; he attacks actions and ideas." "He’s much more reasonable and intelligent…He’s a legitimate guy.”

Gymlan inquired of Joe Rogan, "You a fan?" in reference to Kennedy Jr. "Yeah, I am a fan. He’s the only one that makes sense to me," responded Rogan. "He’s much more reasonable and intelligent. I mean, the guy was an environmental lawyer and he cleaned up the East River," he added.
