WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump on Thursday, April 2, called out rock legend Bruce Springsteen on social media, labeling him a "total loser" and urging his supporters to boycott the singer's new "overpriced" tour.

Trump’s comments followed the launch of Springsteen's "Land of Hope & Dreams American Tour," which the musician has stated will focus on political and topical themes.

Trump mocks Bruce Springsteen as 'dried up prune' and 'total loser'

Talking to Truth Social, Trump shared his blunt assessment of the singer’s career and appearance.

"Bad, and very boring singer, Bruce Springsteen, who looks like a dried up prune who has suffered greatly from the work of a really bad plastic surgeon, has long had a horrible and incurable case of Trump Derangement Syndrome, sometimes referred to as TDS," he wrote.

He further dismissed the musician’s critiques, noting that the singer is a "total loser" who "spews hate against a President who won a Landslide Election, including the popular vote, all Seven Swing States, and 86% of the Counties across America."

Trump demands MAGA boycott Bruce Springsteen's concerts

Trump also focused on the financial aspect of the tour, highlighting fan complaints regarding high ticket costs.

He encouraged his base to spend their money elsewhere, stating, "MAGA SHOULD BOYCOTT HIS OVERPRICED CONCERTS, WHICH SUCK. SAVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY. AMERICA IS BACK!!!"

The POTUS emphasized that under his leadership, the US has become the "hottest" country in the world, contrasting it with the "DEAD" state of the nation under the previous administration.

In a separate post, he added a final jab, writing, "Is Bruce Springsteen going to sue his plastic surgeon?"

Bruce Springsteen 'ready' for blowback over his latest tour

Springsteen kicked off his tour on Tuesday in Minneapolis, performing "Streets of Minneapolis," a song written after the fatal ICE shootings of Renee Nicole Good and Alex Pretti.

Despite the president’s sharp words, the 76-year-old singer told the Minnesota Star Tribune that he expects and accepts the controversy while adding he also wasn’t worried about losing fans.

"My job is very simple: I do what I want to do, I say what I want to say and then people get to say what they want to say about it," Springsteen said.

"Those are the rules of my game. That’s fine with me. I’ve always had a feeling about the position we play culturally and I’m still deeply committed to that idea of the band. The blowback is just part of it. I’m ready for all that," the singer stressed.
