WASHINGTON, DC: During a segment criticizing YouTuber Ms Rachel for quoting a Bible verse about “loving your neighbor” while discussing the acceptance of LGBTQ people, former President Donald Trump's campaign partner Charlie Kirk made homophobic comments and referenced a verse in Leviticus that is used to justify stoning gay people to death.

He called it part of “God’s perfect law when it comes to sexual matters.”

Kirk, who recently shared a stage with GOP nominee Trump at a Phoenix rally, described being gay as “an error” and compared it to being an alcoholic or a drug addict. He further addressed LGBTQ individuals, saying, “You’re better than this.”

The comments came shortly after Kirk announced that his organization, Turning Point USA, is now working directly with the Trump campaign. This collaboration has raised concerns given Kirk's history of controversial remarks.

He has previously attacked figures like Martin Luther King Jr, Black professionals, and women. Now, during Pride Month, Kirk has turned his focus to the LGBTQ community. Kirk's remarks have sparked outrage, particularly as they come at a time when Trump continues to align himself with individuals known for extreme views.

Netizens criticize Charlie Kirk's anti-LGBTQ comments

A user tweeted, "Kirk is in dire need of counseling."

Another added, "Charlie Kirk and his llk are going down with the lying odious criminal felon trump."

A third claimed, "Being gay is not an error. Being a potato is an error."

"From: the party of closeted men," mocked a user.

"The error is Charlie Kirk’s father didn’t pull out in time. #RepublicansAreDestroyingAmerica," read a tweet.

"@charliekirk11 I am 54 years old, my queer life is hardly "an error," and even if it were somehow (it is not), it remains to have nothing to do with you. I am not sick, do not need repairing, and have done more with my gay life than you EVER will with yours," commented a user.
