Trump declares Mar-a-Lago ‘best in the world’, calls it his ‘Southern White House’

WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump on Sunday, September 6, called his Mar-a-Lago Club in Florida the “Southern White House,” praising the property in a Truth Social post during a day of frequent posting.

Trump praised the private club as the “Best in the World” and said it serves as a presidential base “free of charge.”

The post came as Trump shared dozens of messages, including several featuring AI-generated images.

Trump described Mar-a-Lago as the “Best in the World” and said the Florida property serves as his “Southern White House” without costing the government anything.

“The Mar-a-Lago Club is considered, by everyone, to be the Best in the World,” Trump wrote. “It also serves as our unparalleled Southern White House, free of charge. Make America Great again!”

The post came during a broader series of messages Trump posted on Sunday. Earlier, the president shared an AI-generated image showing himself seated at the Resolute Desk with four computer screens displaying stock trades.

“I do this for our Country, not myself,” Trump wrote. “I've made Hundreds of Billions of Dollars on Stocks, and many other type Holdings, for the USA, not myself, and all I do is get criticized by the Radical Left Dumocrats. Very unfair, but what can you do!.”

By that point, the president had posted 37 times on the platform, with other posts featuring digitally created images and political messages.

Trump also posted several other AI-generated images, including one showing him alongside giant robots with the words “Give them nightmares..” Another depicted a fighter jet attacking Iran’s Kharg Island with the caption “Bye bye, Kharg.”

Additional posts showed Trump portrayed as a muscular, Hulk Hogan-style figure, mocked actor Robert De Niro, and depicted him hosting George Washington in the Oval Office.

Another post showed a proposed United States Space Force Services dress uniform featuring an all-black design and knee-high black boots. The description said the design was “Inspired by the discipline and functionality of the starship trooper uniform, modernized for the guardians of the space domain.”

Trump proposes ‘New America’ for New Mexico

Trump also suggested changing the name of New Mexico, accompanying his proposal with an AI-generated image depicting a sign for the state altered to read “New America.”

“Many people suggested changing the name of New Mexico, one of the great vote cheating states of all time, to New America. So much more prestigious and beautiful for the people of that potentially incredible State. Wow, I Love It!!!,” Trump wrote.

Trump accompanied the post with an AI-generated image of a New Mexico road sign altered to read “New America.”

Democratic Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham sharply rejected the suggestion, writing on X, “New Mexico’s name isn’t up for debate , it’s been ours since before the United States existed."

Trump’s posts came as he spent the weekend at his Bedminster, New Jersey, property. His activity on Truth Social also included commentary on Iran, political opponents, and other public figures, alongside the AI-generated images.
