WASHINGTON, DC: Former President Donald Trump has accused his opponent Kamala Harris of exaggerating the size of her rally crowd, posting what he described as an "AI doctored photo," despite there being no proof that the photo was altered.

The picture in question was taken during a Harris-Walz rally on August 7 at the Detroit Metro Airport. It depicts a sizable gathering of people gathered in front of Air Force Two, the vice president's official aircraft.

Some right-wing groups have erroneously argued that certain inconsistencies in a news photograph suggest digital alteration, pointing to the missing reflection in the plane's turbine as proof. Nonetheless, the size of the crowd can be easily confirmed through videos of the event, the Daily Mail reported.

Nonetheless, Trump seized the opportunity on August 11, to claim on his Truth Social platform that Harris had "AI'd it."

"Has anyone noticed that Kamala CHEATED at the airport?" he asked. "There was nobody at the plane, and she "Al'd" it, and showed a massive "crowd" of so-caled followers, BUT THEY DIDN'T EXIST!"

He went on to write, "She's a CHEATER. She had NOBODY waiting and the 'crowd' looks like 10,000 people!' he continued. 'Same thing is happening with her fake "crowds at her speeches."

"This is the way Democrats win Elections," Trump further argued. "She should be disqualified because the creation of a fake image is ELECTION INTERFERENCE. Anyone who does that will cheat at ANYTHING!"

Amid a challenging week, former President Trump accused Vice President Harris of exaggerating her rally sizes, as he seemingly began to lose his edge in base enthusiasm and crowd numbers.

What did Kamala Harris' campaign say about the allegations?

The Harris campaign has responded to the former president's unfounded allegation.

"1) This is an actual photo of a 15,000-person crowd for Harris-Walz in Michigan," the campaign posted on X.

"2) Trump has still not campaigned in a swing state in over a week... Low energy?"

Getty Images photographer confirms crowd at Kamala Harris rally was real

The size of the crowd at the Harris rally can be proven through videos, and Snopes found the photo was "96 percent human" explaining that Trump's claims are false.

The source confirmed the event was attended by thousands, with many posting their own pictures and videos.

Getty Images photographer Andrew Harnick defended his photograph, stating that the crowd was large and the pictures on the Getty website speak to that.

"It was a large crowd, and the pictures that I took that are on the Getty website speak to that," he told the Daily Beast.

Harnick clarified that he utilized a zoom lens, which has the capability to make objects seem nearer than their true distance.

"The plane is actually a pretty far distance from the crowd," he stated, adding that he has covered politics for many years without displaying any prejudice.

"We keep our opinions to ourselves and just cover what we see in front of us," Harnick said talking about photographers.

Internet says Kamala Harris campaign has been 'caught red-handed'

Other Republicans have echoed similar assertions, with commentator Dinesh D'Souza urging his followers to "check the reflection in the plane."

'Does this look like a real picture to you?' D'Souza questioned.

Another user pointed out that if you examine the airplane's paint job closely, you will observe that the crowd is not reflected in the paint.

The user wrote, "Kamala Harris's campaign has been officially caught red-handed using a fake crowd photo at a campaign rally to create the illusion of a larger crowd. If you look closely at the paint job of the airplane, you'll notice that the crowd does not reflect in the paint. Her crowd is fake. Her voters are fake. Her marriage is fake. Her political career is fake."

The thrid commentator wrote, "Well, So Kamala Harris and Walz team photoshoped images so it looks like a crowd (if you look at the planes reflection you can clearly see there are not people at her rally ) ANOTHER FAKE STUNT BY DEMOCRATS Media CBS, NBC, ABC ran with these fake photos- call them out on it! We all know they do not fight fair - liars, cheats, destruction and communist!"

"The plane is fake too. No tail number," one explained.

A person remarked, "Democrats are liers and cheaters"

Other chimed in, "All her crowd stuff is fake"
