MOSINEE, WISCONSIN: GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump had a major verbal gaffe during a campaign rally in Mosinee on Saturday, September 7. The former president fumbled when he tried to say the word 'eliminate' at the event.

The former president rallied supporters in Mosinee during his first visit to the deep-red, mostly rural part, of the important swing state, OK Magazine reported

In a viral clip, Donald Trump told his supporters, "Ultimately, we’ll el-ah-ah. And you know what we’re doing here I say it all the time. I’m dying to get back to do this."

He finally added what he had meant to say, announcing, "We will ultimately eliminate the federal department of education."

Trump also made a new attack against Democratic Presidential candidate Kamala Harris as he suggested expanding the 25th Amendment to include the possibility of removing a vice president, according to The Independent.

"I will support modifying the 25th Amendment to make clear that if a vice president lies or engages in a conspiracy to cover up the incapacity of the president of the United States — if you do that with a cover-up of the president of the United States, it’s grounds for impeachment immediately and removal from office because that’s what they did," the MAGA spearhead added.

Donald Trump says he will penalize countries shifting away from US dollar

Donald Trump pledged on Saturday that he would make it too costly for countries to shift away from using the US dollar and added a new pillar to his tariff platform. 

He said during the rally, "You leave the dollar and you’re not doing business with the United States because we are going to put a 100% tariff on your goods."

He made the statement following months of discussions between Trump and his economic advisers on ways to penalize countries who seek active ways to engage in bilateral trade in currencies other than the US dollar. 

Sources previously informed Bloomberg News that options have included export controls, currency manipulation charges, and tariffs.

Even though dollar dominance has lessened in recent decades, the US currency still accounted for 59 percent of official foreign exchange reserves in the first quarter of 2024, according to the International Monetary Fund.

Donald Trump mocked as he fumbles at Wisconsin Rally

Several people on the internet trolled Donald Trump after his major verbal gaffe during a campaign rally in Mosinee.

One X user wrote, "#DementiaDonOld," while another added, "The classic f***-up pivot into filler phrases then back to the original point. I love this move."



 



 

One person asked, "You do know Trump is the most corrupt politician ever, why he ain’t in jail???" whereas another stated, "You try too hard… Relax. It’s just not working out for you."

One individual wrote, "The crowd is thinking that if he eliminates the Dept of Education everyone will be as stupid as they are."
