Trump mocked as 'bald old man' as his hair comes under spotlight amid speech to joint session of Congress

WASHINGTON, DC: Donald Trump’s hair became the talk of the town after his first address to Congress after taking office for the second time. Almost two months have passed since Trump took over the Oval Office after defeating Joe Biden in the 2024 November election.

On Tuesday, March 4, the Republican leader delivered a speech to the joint session of Congress, where he said, “We have accomplished more in 43 days than most administrations accomplished in four years or eight years, and we are just getting started,” as per BBC.

However, it was the condition of his hair that grabbed viewers' attention, with many taking to social media to mock the president.

Trump also slammed “wokeness” as he stated, “We’re getting wokeness out of our schools and out of our military and it’s already out, and it’s out of our society. We don’t want it.”

“Wokeness is trouble. Wokeness is bad. It's gone, it's gone, and we feel so much better for it, don't we?” he added.

Netizens make fun of Trump’s hair

However, it was Trump’s apparent thinning hair that attracted many people’s attention, as reported by Irish Star.

One X user tweeted, “‘TRUMP, your bald head is showing!’😬 #trumpspeech.”



 

Another X user wrote, “Bald old man!!!”



 

“Donald Trump has a cotton candy machine that does his hair now..... #POTUSAddress,” the third user jokingly shared.



 

An individual posted, “Dirty Donald’s scalp getting a lot of airtime tonight! His hair is thinner than his excuses. #StateOfTheUnion.”



 

The second individual said, “But like am I crazy or is Trump going bald?”

Trump blames Biden for ‘economic catastrophe’

Meanwhile, the 47th president gave the speech for two hours, where he mentioned one of his strong aides, Elon Musk, as per CNN.

“Thank you, Elon. He's working very hard. He didn't need this,” he said, before claiming, “Everybody here, even this side, appreciates it. I believe they just don’t want to admit that,” referring to Democrats.

Trump also dissed his predecessor Biden in his speech as he claimed, “As you know, we inherited, from the last administration, an economic catastrophe and an inflation nightmare.”
