Trump names Kimberly Guilfoyle ambassador to Greece after Don Jr's pics with new rumored GF go viral

PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: President-elect Donald Trump announced on Tuesday, December 10, that he is selecting son Donald Trump Jr's fiancee, Kimberly Guilfoyle, as the ambassador to Greece.

The 78-year-old took to Truth Social to share the news with his loyal supporters just hours after his son Donald Trump Jr's photos with Palm Beach socialite, Bettina Anderson, from a beach outing were released by the Daily Mail, according to Radar Online.

Donald Trump wrote on Truth Social, "Today, I am very pleased to announce the appointment of Kimberly Guilfoyle as the United States Ambassador to Greece. For many years, Kimberly has been a close friend and ally."

He continued, "Her extensive experience and leadership in law, media, and politics along with her sharp intellect make her supremely qualified to represent the United States, and safeguard its interests abroad."

The president-elect added, "Kimberly is perfectly suited to foster strong bilateral relations with Greece, advancing our interests on issues ranging from defense cooperation to trade and economic innovation."

Guilfoyle started her career as a prosecutor in San Francisco and Los Angeles but soon found herself in the Trump circle after she got into a relationship with the MAGA spearhead's eldest son in 2018.

A source close to Trump said, as per Radar Online, "There were a ton of people vying for this. It is one of the hottest posts in the world. Not just because it's an amazing place to live, but because it's a hotbed of activity with everything that is happening in Syria, throughout the Middle East, and the migrant crisis."

The insider added, "He wants her to represent him on the world stage. She studied international law and will be amazing spokeswoman for Donald Trump. She'll be the Jackie O of the MAGA movement."

Accepting the nomination, Guilfoyle wrote in a post on X (formerly Twitter), "President Trump’s historic victory is bringing hope and optimism to the American people and to freedom-loving allies across the world. It was the democratic values born in Greece that helped shape the founding of America."

"And now, we have an opportunity to honor that history by bringing better days here at home and abroad. As ambassador, I look forward to delivering on the Trump agenda, supporting our Greek allies, and ushering in a new era of peace and prosperity," the 55-year-old added.

Donald Trump Jr was recently seen hand-in-hand with Bettina Anderson during a nighttime outing in Palm Beach, raising questions about the status of his relationship with Kimberly Guilfoyle.

While the couple has not publicly addressed any changes in their relationship, sources close to them have suggested they’ve been spending significant time apart, according to Daily Mail.
