GREEN BAY, WISCONSIN: GOP nominee Donald Trump was seen struggling with a truck door and nearly stumbling in a video that went viral on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday, October 30.

He was wearing a bright orange high-vis vest at the time, cosplaying as a garbage man in an effort to mock President Joe Biden for calling his supporters "garbage" the previous day.

The incumbent was reacting to a crass joke made by roast comedian Tony Hinchcliffe at Trump's Madison Square Garden rally over the weekend, where he called Puerto Rico a floating island of garbage in the middle of the ocean.

Donald Trump arrived at Wisconsin rally in a garbage truck

Donald Trump chose a garbage truck as his ride to the Green Bay, Wisconsin, rally on Wednesday, where he intensified his criticism of Joe Biden for allegedly insulting his supporters just days before the general election, according to Express US.

Speaking to reporters gathered on the Wisconsin runway where he had just landed, Trump remarked, "250 million people are not garbage. I could tell you who the real garbage is, but I won't say that."

Trouble began when Trump approached the waiting truck and attempted to climb in. The 78-year-old missed the door handle after staggering toward the vehicle, grasping for it twice.

He briefly lost his balance, nearly stumbling, before regaining composure and managing to open the door, eventually needing a hand to get inside.

After arriving late to his rally, Trump explained that his advisors had come up with the garbage truck stunt just 30 minutes before he landed in the state.

"I said I think it's ok but I don't feel comfortable wearing a suit...then they said, 'Sir we have a vest.' I said, 'Should I leave my suit on and put it over the vest? But that doesn't look very good,'" he shared, explaining his choice of outfit.
