Trump explains why he did not like playing football as a child
Trump said during the podcast, "I played football too. I didn't particularly like it. I could catch the ball good but I didn't particularly like having some guy that was, uh, lifting weights all day long and came from a bad neighborhood. Yeah, and he sees me, and they were tackling hard."
He added, "This wasn't high-quality football and I didn't like it too much. I liked baseball."
He also spoke about his time with his parents as a child and said, "My parents loved each other and they were married for many years. great husband, great wife, great family."
Trump explains how he will unite the country
During the podcast, Trump also answered how he will unite the country if he is elected as president in November. He said, "You want to see the country united but we have two very different sides. We have a very conservative side and then we have people who want to see an open border and so on."
He added, "I think we need to have success. When I was running the country, we were the most successful country in history before Covid came in. We were doing the best in numbers in no matter what category, including employment. Everybody was working and everybody was successful."
