WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump took a jab at MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace on Sunday, August 17, and assured that "she will be fired soon" in a Truth Social post.

He made the post as he shared his disdain for media officials after he met with President Vladimir Putin in Alaska on Friday, where he failed to secure a ceasefire.

Donald Trump calls Nicole Wallace 'a loser with bad ratings'

It all started when Donald Trump began his Sunday morning with a cryptic post on Truth Social, where he wrote "Bela," leaving his followers to debate the meaning of the word.

In the comments section, a user posted an edited photo of Wallace with a "Karen" haircut and a red nose, as the text in the picture read, "Typhoid Mary Nicole Wallace", "Clown news," and "Nicole Wallace is afraid of losing her job. Get her a Waaambulance."

Moreover, a fake news ticker showed the MSNBC logo alongside the word "disinformation."

Trump replied to that particular comment, writing, "She is a loser, with bad ratings, who was already thrown off of The View. She will be fired soon! MSNBC IS DEAD!"

Interestingly, Wallace, who hosts 'Deadline: White House' on MSNBC, was the former White House communications director under former President George W Bush.

Before the meeting with Putin on Friday, the POTUS firmly stated that the Russian president could expect "severe consequences" if he didn’t agree to end the fighting in Ukraine.

However, Trump has since changed his stance and said that achieving peace will require territorial concessions from Ukraine.

Meanwhile, he is slated to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Monday.

Lashing out at the media, Trump wrote in another Truth Social post, "It’s incredible how the Fake News violently distorts the TRUTH when it comes to me. There is NOTHING I can say or do that would lead them to write or report honestly about me. I had a great meeting in Alaska on Biden’s stupid War, a war that should have never happened!!!"

In a subsequent post, he said, "If I got Russia to give up Moscow as part of the Deal, the Fake News, and their PARTNER, the Radical Left Democrats, would say I made a terrible mistake and a very bad deal. That’s why they are the FAKE NEWS! Also, they should talk about the 6 WARS, etc., I JUST STOPPED!!! MAGA."

Nicolle Wallace lashes out at Donald Trump for 'fawning' over Vladimir Putin

Nicolle Wallace delivered a fiery critique of Donald Trump during her Friday broadcast, as she condemned the POTUS' high-stakes summit with Vladimir Putin.

Speaking on 'Deadline: White House', Wallace accused Trump of disregarding democratic values and downplaying the suffering caused by Russia’s ongoing invasion of Ukraine.

She said, "It’s so much to watch our country’s president stand with the person responsible for all that suffering and all that death. It’s just heinous," while referring to Russia’s campaign of airstrikes on civilian areas.

Moreover, she described the toll of the war in stark detail, citing families who try to live “somewhat normal” lives while facing the constant threat of bombings.

"It’s indiscriminate strikes on apartments that kill not enough innocent civilians to dominate the headlines for days and days. It’s the terror. It’s the terror of sending your kid off to school because you want life to be somewhat normal. But you know that any day, Russia could bomb anywhere in Ukraine," Wallace added.

She also argued that Ukrainians had once relied on US support to defend themselves against Russia, but now faced the possibility of that commitment being undermined.

Wallace said, "I mean, it’s watching them scrape and struggle to get an American president who supported them, to give them all the weapons they needed to go toe-to-toe with Russia. And to see all that potentially erased by an American president who just doesn’t give a s**t about democracy. He doesn’t care about our allies. He doesn’t care about a democratic ally's sovereignty."
