WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump, on Tuesday, May 12 kicked off another headline-grabbing social media spree, but one image quickly became the centerpiece of the barrage.

Among a string of memes, edited graphics, and AI-generated posts, Trump shared a graphic image showing Democratic leaders appearing submerged in sewage, turning what began as another day of political posting into one of his most visually provocative Truth Social runs in recent weeks.

Trump posts meme displaying Dems submerged in sewage

The post that drew the most attention featured former President Barack Obama, former President Joe Biden and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi appearing neck-deep in what looked like human waste.

The image appeared to place the three Democratic figures inside an altered version of Washington’s Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, transformed into a filthy brown basin.

Above the edited image, Trump included the caption “Dumacrats Love Sewage.

The post stood out even by Trump’s standards, given its graphic nature and the fact that it was uploaded alongside a rapid-fire series of memes targeting political opponents, media organizations, and foreign adversaries.

Trump unleashes meme-war

The sewage meme was only one part of Trump’s Tuesday posting spree.

In separate posts, Trump shared digitally altered military-style graphics appearing to show American drones and naval vessels destroying Iranian military equipment, continuing his aggressive messaging around the ongoing Iran conflict.

He also posted an edited image mocking House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, comparing parts of his district to urban decay while labeling him “low IQ.”

In another AI-generated image, Illinois Governor JB Pritzker was shown surrounded by oversized fast-food items including pizza, fried chicken, burgers, and hot dogs, another example of Trump’s increasingly visual political attacks.

Trump also posted a fake $100 bill featuring his own face and name in place of Benjamin Franklin, alongside a market graphic claiming stocks were at an “all-time high.”

Trump has increasingly embraced AI-generated visuals, memes, and altered images as part of his online political style.

Earlier this month, he posted an AI image showing Biden asleep with ice cream nearby while Obama appeared holding an “autopen,” calling it a “highly accurate depiction” of the Biden administration.

In previous posts, Trump has also shared memes attacking former presidents, Democratic leaders, and media outlets using Truth Social not just as a campaign platform, but as a direct channel for political trolling, messaging, and personal attacks.
