WASHINGTON, DC: Donald Trump took offense and hit back after social media videos showed sparse crowd at his rally in Philadelphia at Temple University's Liacouras Center on June 22.

The Republican leader fired back at his critics by sharing a post on his Truth Social account that compared the number of people attending the "Trump rally" and the "Obama/Biden rally", as reported by Newsweek.

Trump slams Biden Campaign

“Trump’s rally” showed the auditorium full of people while the other one had no one.

The 78-year-old politician wrote on Tuesday, June 25, “The Biden Campaign engaging in Cheap Fakes! They're embarrassed that they drew a very weak Crowd, and so they have to manipulate and lie about President Trump's energetic and overflow Rally. MAGA!”

Trump’s social media post came days after Democratic party chair, Chris D Jackson, tweeted, “Look at all those empty seats in Philadelphia. Old man can't even fill a high school gym fill anymore. Sad.”

Also when an X user said, “This venue doesn’t allow the top to be filled when you have the floor filled. You’re just lying to people. It was at capacity,” Jackson did not hold back.

He replied, “BREAKING: BIDEN ACTUALLY FILLED THE ARENA TRUMP COULDN'T! If you've read the MAGA comments on my post, you'll see that they claimed the fire marshal or Secret Service prevented Trump from filling the top tier of the Liacouras Center last night.”

“However, this is total BS. Here's President Biden at a 2022 rally in the same arena, packed to capacity. (pictured) Once again, it's all a ruse to make people think he has overwhelming support in a place like Philadelphia when he actually doesn't. Share away,” Jackson added.

Another critic of Trump added on X, “Here is a video of Trump at his rally tonight in swing state PA at Temple University’s Liacouras Center, capacity 10,200. It’s half empty. Zero attendees in the upper bowl. Odd for a guy that brags about pulling 100k ppl in NJ and 30k in the Bronx.”

Netizens wonder how Trump at 78 did ‘not grow up’

Meanwhile, many people thrashed the GOP presidential nominee after his latest Truth Social Post as a reader below the Newsweek article said, “How much energy does it take to either fill out a ballot or operate a voting machine? Someone squealing approval at a Trump rally is his metric? Crowd size only matters at the places of voting and numbers of ballots.”

Another reader commented, “How does one get to 78 and still not grow up? That's a question he should tackle. It would be funny.”

“Don 'tiny hands' Trump is very sensitive to his shortcomings on crowd size among other things. We experienced it right away during his inauguration when he was elected President. It a recurring theme ever since,” the third one remarked.

The fourth one stated, “It's all about the audience with Trump. He's a showman, a conman, a personality.  He is not a statesman.  He is not presidential.”

“There is video of both events from reputable source. The convicted felon is offended. So what?” the fifth one added.
