WASHINGTON, DC: Former president Donald Trump criticized Vice President Kamala Harris for avoiding the press and mocked her for her recent interviews.

Even though she has been participating in interviews recently, her efforts pale in comparison to the activities of her counterpart, Trump.

Kamala Harris has not sat for an interview since becoming presidential candidate

However, it has been 75 days since Kamala Harris became the presumptive Democratic nominee and she has yet to hold a press conference to address tough questions.

In recent weeks, Harris has made appearances on radio shows and had a solo sit-down with a Philadelphia TV station.

She also appeared on MSNBC and made time for Oprah Winfrey at a high-profile campaign event.

Regarding whether she will conduct a formal press conference as a candidate, it may never occur during her candidacy.

Conservative Radio Libre host Jorge Bonilla feels Harris should do a press conference but said it’s almost "irrelevant" because she continues to get a pass.

"She is highly unlikely to do a press conference because the media have enabled and encouraged her ‘plexiglass basement’ strategy, wherein she preserves the illusion of being out there while remaining wholly inaccessible to the press and therefore unaccountable," Bonilla told Fox News.

Kamala Harris' interviews 'elicited few details' about 'how her presidential administration might look like'

On Friday, October 4, Donald Trump mocked Kamala Harris for her interviews which the New York Times dubbed to have "elicited few details about what her presidential administration might look like."

The publication noted, during her one-on-one interview with MSNBC, "She largely avoided direct questions about how she would govern and why some voters remain fond of former President Donald J Trump’s stewardship of the economy."

"Lyin’ Kamal Harris, who refuses to do interviews or press conferences because she has no idea how to answer the questions," Trump wrote on Truth Social on Friday, October 4. He said, Harris, "is now losing in the polls."

Donald Trump says Kamala Harris has been ‘informed, legally’ that he has nothing to do with Project 2025

Donald Trump insisted that he has nothing to do with Project 2025 saying she "continues to make a thing called Project 2025 the central theme of her campaign advertising and all."

Trump wrote Harris has been ‘informed, legally’ that he has nothing to do with Project 2025.

"Lyin’ Kamala has been informed, legally, that I have, and had, nothing to do with it, NEVER READ IT, NEVER SAW IT, but her ads continue, full blast," Trump wrote further.

"When you see them talking about Project 2025, remember, Kamala is lying, just like she lied about working at McDonalds (she didn’t!), or added 818,000 new jobs that didn’t exist (a fraud!), and sooo many other lies," Trump wrote.

"Just like San Francisco and California, itself, she would, if given the chance, COMPLETELY DESTROY OUR COUNTRY!" he concluded.
