WASHINGTON, DC: Donald Trump just took a brutal swipe at the Wall Street Journal while cruising 30,000 feet in the air.

While flying aboard Air Force One this weekend, the 78-year-old president went off on a Wall Street Journal reporter in an outburst that was caught on camera and posted to social media, the Irish Star reported.

In the clip, a reporter asks Donald Trump a question in the 34-second clip. But before even answering, the POTUS points and demands, “Who are you with?” When the journalist replies that he’s with the Wall Street Journal, Trump responds with a snide, “That’s what I thought.”

“You people treat us so badly,” he snaps, before slamming the Newscorp-owned paper.

"Wall Street Journal has truly gone to hell. Rotten newspaper," the POTUS continued.

“You hear me, what I said: It’s a rotten newspaper,” he repeated for emphasis.

Even as the reporter tries to ask another question (barely audible over the roar of the engines), Trump shuts it down hard. “I wouldn’t call the Wall Street Journal because they would be wasting my time," he declares.

The reporter tries again to squeeze in a question, believed to be about Ukraine, Russia, or the trade spat with China. “There are talks,” he replies. "But I don’t want to talk to the Wall Street Journal. The Wall Street Journal is China-oriented.”

Critics were fuming within minutes of the video making the rounds on social media.

"Anyone who disagrees with Trump is rotten and 'legacy media,'" one user posted on X.

"Every media outlet seems radical when you’re a authoritarian, hence why they keep having those weird MAGA influencer jerk off sessions with the press secretary," another remarked.

"From a man who has filed for Bankruptcy SIX times, anyone who doesn’t jump on his crazy train economic ideas are 'radical.' I’ll take Warren Buffett over Donald Trump any day. And if these people are honest so would they. It’s become an absolute joke at this point," a comment read.

"You don't need to be a radical leftist to oppose his idiocy. All you need is half a brain and basic common sense," someone else chimed in.

"His grip on reality is weakening, bit by bit, day by day," one person insisted.

Donald Trump accused of 'rewriting history'

Just days before the Wall Street Journal clash, Donald Trump took to Truth Social and let loose another eyebrow-raising rant — this time about World War II.

“Many of our allies and friends are celebrating May 8th as Victory Day,” he wrote, before adding, “But we did more than any other country, by far, in producing a victorious result on World War II.”

According to Trump, the United States “did more than any country by far” in winning WWII, seeming to gloss over the part where America didn’t even enter the war until December 1941 after the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor.

Trump’s take didn’t sit well across the pond. General Lord Dannatt, the former chief of the British Army’s general staff, called the remarks “extraordinary.”

“Talk about rewriting history. So, what is he going to call August 15th when World War II finally ended? 15th August, Atomic Bomb Day? Not great," Dannatt said. “After all, it was only the attack on Pearl Harbour that eventually brought the US into the war,” he reminded. “Or is Trump so anti-Europe he has forgotten that?”

In the same Truth Social post, Trump declared that he planned to rename May 8 as Victory Day to commemorate the end of WWII, while November 11 (which has long been Veterans Day) would become Victory Day for WWI.

“We won both Wars, nobody was close to us in terms of strength, bravery, or military brilliance, but we never celebrate anything,” he insisted. “That’s because we don’t have leaders anymore, that know how to do so! We are going to start celebrating our victories again!”
