WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump was spotted with a new bruise on his left hand while golfing at Trump National Golf Club in Virginia on Saturday, August 23.

Interestingly, the POTUS was also pictured with a heavy layer of makeup applied to his right hand when he visited a museum located next to the White House on Friday.

Trump's new bruise seen on video shared by Roger Clemens' son

While golfing at the Trump National Golf Club in Virginia on Saturday, a new dark mark was clearly visible on the back of Donald Trump's left hand.

A video posted to Instagram by Kacy Clemens, son of former MLB pitcher Roger Clemens, captured the bruise as Trump looked out over the course.

The bruise matches the placement of a similar bruise on his right hand, which has been visible for months.

However, this time, the mark wasn’t covered with makeup, and his right hand seemed to be carefully concealed again, most likely with cosmetics, in earlier sightings.

Meanwhile, the POTUS has been seen with makeup on his hands many times, which the White House has blamed on his rigorous handshakes.

In early 2025, during a White House meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron, Trump’s right hand appeared badly bruised.

Similarly, people noted that the president suffers from swollen ankles, as it was visible recently when he met Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska in August for peace talks on the Ukraine war.

In July, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said that the president was suffering from "minor bruising on the back of his hands" and characterized the issue as "minor soft tissue irritation from frequent handshaking and the use of aspirin."

"This is a well-known and benign side effect of aspirin therapy," she had added.

Furthermore, she blamed Trump's swollen ankles on Chronic Venous Insufficiency (CVI), a condition where blood pools in the legs and does not efficiently return to the heart.

The president's annual medical examination, which took place in early 2025, claimed that the POTUS was in "excellent health" and noted his "active lifestyle" and "frequent victories in golf events."

Internet reacts as Trump is spotted with new bruise

Several internet users shared their reactions and questioned about Donald Trump's health as he was seen with a new bruise on his left hand while golfing on Saturday.

A user wrote on X, "He needs to lose a good solid 40 pounds," while one added, "Trump's health is failing. He can't hide it forever."

A person also stated, "For someone who’s 80 yeah pretty much," whereas someone else mentioned, "Is it from injections I wonder."

One more wrote, "So the ear healed perfectly but a bruise will not go away for months…Riiiiight!" while another commented, "Looks like that 'usual' round of his infusion is not cutting it anymore."

"Collapsed vein from infusions. Cardiologists are giving him 2-8 months," another suggested.
