WEST PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: Former president Donald Trump addressed the Turning Point Action Believers’ Summit in Florida on Friday, July 26, where he told the crowd gathered that "in four years, you won't have to vote again".

Turning Point Action is a social welfare group founded in 2019 with the mission to “embolden the conservative base through grassroots activism and provide voters with the necessary resources to elect true conservative leaders,” according to the organization’s website.

Notably, this was Trump's second public speech since President Joe Biden withdrew from the 2024 presidential race and endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democratic nominee.

During the Summit, Donald Trump said, "You have to get out and vote. You won’t have to do it anymore. Four years and it will be fixed, and it will be fine. You won’t have to vote anymore. In four years, you won’t have to vote again."

Moreover, during the Summit, Trump claimed credit for President Biden's resignation from the ticket after his disastrous debate performance in June.

He also took jibes at VP Harris and linked her to the Biden administration's policies on immigration and crime. He also trolled her for the pronunciation of her name.

Donald Trump tells Christians they 'won't have to vote anymore'

Donald Trump made an appeal to Christian voters at the Summit.

“Christians, get out and vote. Just this time. You won’t have to do it anymore. Four more years. You know what? It’ll be fixed! It’ll be fine! You won’t have to vote anymore, my beautiful Christians. I love you Christians. I am not Christian."

He added, "You gotta get out and vote. In four years, you don’t have to vote again. We’ll have it fixed so good, you’re not gonna have to vote.”

Notably, Trump has fostered a widespread far-right devotion among his supporters with actions like repealing Roe v Wade, even though he has allegedly made fun of his conservative Christian leaders behind their backs, not attended church regularly before running for president, and claims he has never sought God for forgiveness, according to MSNBC.

In October 2020, Trump informed Religion News Service that he no longer identifies himself as a Presbyterian and is now a non-denominational Christian.

Moreover, Trump's address on Friday came as the start of his campaign's drive to boost Christian voter turnout.

Internet rips Donald Trump for controversial statement during Summit in Florida

Several social users ripped Donald Trump for saying "in four years, you won't have to vote again" during the Turning Point Action Believers’ Summit in Florida.

People ended up calling him "dictator" and took jibes at him.

A user wrote on X, "I refuse to live under a dictator" while one added, "Still spreading lies."

A person also stated, "Insane how openly he states this UNAMERICAN CONCEPT!!"

A user also wrote, "…And he’s not Christian #Project2025isDangerous.

Another stated, "That's because in four years, voting will no longer be allowed. We will have lost our Democracy."

One user remarked, "In this small clip he basically promised a dictatorship and announced he’s not Christian. How is this not the lead story of every mainstream media outlet in the country?

A person also wrote, "Did this man just say, 'I'm not Christian?'"

A tweet read, "I’ll take Kamala! I’ll take Freedom!"
