WASHINGTON, DC: An explosive filing from Donald Trump's election subversion case was unsealed on Wednesday, October 2, unveiling a series of grave allegations regarding the former president's conduct surrounding January 6, 2021.

Within the 165-page document, one of the most severe accusations detailed Trump's purported response upon being informed by an aide that Vice President Mike Pence had been escorted to a secure location in the US Capitol for his protection.

Trump reply to the news was, “So what?”

The aide testified to a grand jury that they hurried into the Oval Office dining room to inform Trump, who was viewing Fox News' coverage of the riot, about Pence's predicament. They approached Trump with the expectation that he would "take action to ensure" Pence's safety, yet Trump notoriously did not act.

The disturbing allegation adds to the growing body of evidence indicating that Trump was indifferent to the potential harm Jan 6 rioters might inflict on his vice president, who had declined to engage in his unfounded claims of election fraud.

As they converged on Pence and other legislators, some rioters were heard chanting "hang Mike Pence."

Trump campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung expressed strong disapproval regarding the release of the document, as per Daily Beast, “This entire case is a partisan, Unconstitutional Witch Hunt that should be dismissed entirely, together with ALL of the remaining Democrat hoaxes.”

Donald Trump lashes out as new allegations emerge just 33 days before Election Day

The Supreme Court's decision this summer to pause Trump's election subversion trial seemed to allow him to delay confronting the unpleasant allegations until well past the Election Day on November 5.

That was not to be, however. The contents of Wednesday's document, detailing communications about Trump promoting falsehoods of voter fraud despite evidence to the contrary, would typically be considered an "October surprise" in past campaigns.

Yet, the former president's poll numbers have stayed notably consistent despite numerous incriminating disclosures throughout the year.

Trump expressed his displeasure towards Judge Tanya Chutkan for authorizing the release of the documents, a mere 33 days prior to Election Day.

The former president expressed his objections on Truth Social regarding the unsealing of the document, alleging that it was a politically motivated action following vice presidential debate on October 1.

“The release of this falsehood-ridden, unconstitutional, J6 brief immediately following Tim Walz’s disastrous Debate performance, and 33 days before the Most Important Election in the History of our Country, is another obvious attempt by the Harris-Biden regime to undermine and Weaponize American Democracy,” he wrote.

Internet slams Donald Trump over indifferent response to Pence's safety

As soon as the news appeared on Facebook, users began criticizing Trump for his remarks. One user slammed the former president, "He doesn’t care about anyone!"

Another added talking of Trump, "This man should never again step his foot in the Whitehouse"

The third commentator remarked, "They need to put this Demented delusional old man in a nursing home before he hurts someone else."

"Anyone who thinks he cares about ANYBODY whose name isn’t Donald J. Trump, is a fool," a critic wrote.

A person claimed, "lol yes the DOJ corruption shows more and more lol interfering in elections now lol"

Other chimed in, "The heartless reaction to the deaths of American young ladies and children from the democrats, killed by the illegals the Biden- Kamala administration let in."
