Trump’s off-site dentist visit in Florida sparks raises questions about his health
WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump was taken away from his Jupiter golf club in Florida on Saturday, March 02, for what has been described as a mysterious “dentist appointment.”
The White House confirmed that the 79-year-old President had attended a "scheduled appointment at his local dentist.” However, the appointment doesn’t appear anywhere on his public schedule, fueling fresh speculation and raising new questions about his health.
CNN commentator and former White House physician, Dr Jonathan Reiner, flagged Trump’s off-site dentist on X, raising questions about whether the visit was for an emergency.
Dr Reiner raises transparency concerns over Trump’s health
In his social media post, Reiner, a one-time doctor to former Vice President Dick Cheney, questioned why Trump would travel off-site for routine dental care when the White House has had its own dental facilities.
“The White House has had a dental operatory since the Hoover Admin. Routine dental exams can be done in the WH,” he wrote in response to a press report about the president’s appointment.

“There’s been such a lack of candor about the health of the president that even a visit to the dentist raises questions,” he added.
Trump’s last dentist appointment, appearing on his public schedule, also took place in Florida on January 10. However, no further details were released about the visit, aside from confirmation that he did not undergo general anesthesia during the procedure.
There’s been such lack of candor about the health of the president that even a visit to the dentist raises questions. The WH has a dental operatory (Pres Biden had a root canal there) so why a Sat morning visit in Florida? Maybe he just likes this dentist. https://t.co/MNX1mRsVsA

This came as Reiner pushed for a new law to monitor the president’s mental fitness after the president stunned critics with his stark warning that an entire civilization in Iran could be wiped out in a single night.
“It’s time for Congress to enact a law requiring the White House physician to periodically and officially certify the health of every president, and their fitness to hold office,” he said.
Trump is now overdue for his annual physical, with his last exam, conducted on April 11, 2025, declaring him in “excellent health.”
However, since then, a stream of increasingly erratic posts on Truth Social, late-night bursts of activity, and meandering public remarks have prompted some medical professionals to raise questions about his cognitive fitness.
Trump boasts about his cognitive examination results
In the past week, the president spent a significant amount of time boasting about his health and that of anyone seeking the job.
In a post on Truth Social last week, Trump argued that anyone seeking the presidency should “be required to undergo a cognitive test before entering the race.”
“I took the Exam three times during my (’THREE!’) Terms as President, and ACED IT ALL THREE TIMES — An Achievement that, even on a single Exam, according to the Doctors, has rarely been done before!” he boasted, despite only having served one full term as president thus far.

Later, during a speech to his contemporaries at a Florida retirement community, he repeatedly circled back to the subject of his own cognition.
“You know, I’ve had different faces, they’ve said, ‘He’s a mad genius.’ I didn’t mind that too much. Then they said, ‘He’s a horrible human being.’ I don’t like that much. Then they said, ‘He’s really not a smart person at all.’ I really hated that,”

“But there aren’t a lot of people who get it right. I got it right. You know, it was actually longer and more complex than that. But no, it’s a tough test, so I took it. And then everyone said, ‘All right, good, he’s smart. He’s smart,’” he said.
