WASHINGTON, DC: Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene spoke up on Monday, May 20, after Rep Jasmine Crockett announced a new collection of merchandise, featuring the "bleach blonde" insult she recently hurled at the far-right politician.

The two had a heated exchange during a House Oversight Committee hearing on Thursday regarding a contempt resolution against Attorney General Merrick Garland.

Marjorie Taylor Greene says 'women need to be themselves' in response to Jasmine Crockett's shade

Rep Greene told Fox News Digital, "I’m very happy with myself. I turn 50 on Monday, and I’m so excited that I’m still alive and healthy and have done so much in life."

The Georgia Rep continued, "And I think no matter what shape, size or how we look, we need to be ourselves, not telling women the only way to be attractive or accepted is to have fake boobs, fake hair, fake lashes, and injected faces."

"I mean, we all wear makeup and do lashes and stuff sometimes, but it’s out of control. Women need a better message for women," stressed Greene.

She also took to X (formerly Twitter) to share a workout video. The post's caption read, "Yes my body is built and strong NOT with nips, tucks, plastic, or silicone, but through a healthy lifestyle."

"Soon turning 50 years old, God willing, I will continue to lift, run, swim, play sports, surf, ski, climb and LIVE this life to the fullest and enjoy every single moment!" added the conservative Republican.

At the House Oversight Committee hearing, Greene reportedly told Crockett, "I think your fake eyelashes are messing up what you’re reading."

The 43-year-old lawyer fired back, saying, "I’m just curious, just to better understand your ruling, if someone on this committee then starts talking about somebody’s bleach blonde bad-built butch body, that would not be engaging in personalities, correct?"

A day after the meeting, the Texas Rep took to X (formerly Twitter) to announce a new line of merchandise. Crockett wrote, "So we are going to drop ‘A Crockett Clapback Collection.’ This collection will feature various swag that includes random things I’ve said."

She added, "The money will go to ensuring that we have a Democratic House! Give me a little time to really get the swag online etc., but B6 will drop first."

Crockett attached the picture of a mockup T-shirt. The slogan on it read, "Bleach Blonde Bad Built Butch Body."

According to a document obtained by Fox News Digital, her campaign submitted an application for trademark registration on Sunday for the phrase "bleach blonde bad built butch body," to be used on hats, hoodies, socks, and T-shirts, among other items.

Internet has mixed feelings over Marjorie Taylor Greene and Jasmine Crockett's clash

A netizen remarked, "Can you imagine how much better this country could be if they spent that much energy fixing things?"

Another said, "Frankly all 3 (Crockett, Greene, and AOC) should all be removed from all their committee assignments for the rest of this Congress. Lack of decorum should not be tolerated.

"Vanity has no place in politics. Both sides were at fault. Crockett's use of the incident to create monetary gain is despicable, though. That shouldn't be allowed. It's taking bad taste to a higher level," expressed an individual.

One more said, "When will middle school in Congress end? Time to elect adults to the House."

"Crockett needs to grow up. She's acting like a little baby. She should use that money she's spending on the production of merchandise for the citizens of her district. But of course, she won't," offered another person.

Someone else wrote, "How did Crockrtt(?) get elected? She can barely speak English. She can’t spell her own name. She is supposed to have a college education but it’s hard to tell what she learned, if anything. She spends more in a week on fake eyelashes, fake fingernails and wigs than her constituents spend each month on ..."

One stated, "Well were they affecting her reading? I mean they are ridiculous so I can easily see that happening," referring to Greene's remark on Crockett's false eyelashes.
