In a post on Truth Social, Trump called out "Crooked Joe Biden," "Deranged Jack Smith," and others whom he accused of “looking to destroy our once great USA.”

Trump concluded his Christmas post by stating, "MAY THEY ROT IN HELL" and wishing his followers “AGAIN, MERRY CHRISTMAS!”

What did Trump say in his Christmas post on Monday afternoon?

"Merry Christmas to all, including Crooked Joe Biden’s ONLY HOPE, Deranged Jack Smith, the out of control Lunatic who just hired outside attorneys, fresh from the SWAMP (unprecedented!), to help him with his poorly executed WITCH HUNT against 'TRUMP' and 'MAGA,'" the former president posted on his Truth Social account.

He added, "Included also are World Leaders, both good and bad, but none of which are as evil and 'sick' as the THUGS we have inside our Country who, with their Open Borders, INFLATION, Afghanistan Surrender, Green New Scam, High Taxes, No Energy Independence, Woke Military, Russia/Ukraine, Israel/Iran, All Electric Car Lunacy, and so much more, are looking to destroy our once great USA."

Trump concluded by saying, "MAY THEY ROT IN HELL. AGAIN, MERRY CHRISTMAS!"

Trump’s post on Truth Social specifically referenced Special Counsel Jack Smith's recent hiring of Michael Dreeben, who has argued before the Supreme Court over a hundred times.

Following a thirty-year tenure at the Department of Justice (DOJ), Dreeben transitioned to private practice with the law firm O'Melveny & Myers in the year 2020, per a report by the Daily Beast.

He is now identified as the "counsel of record" for Smith's legal case on election interference against Trump in the District of Columbia (DC).

This message followed a similar one he posted on Christmas Eve, in which he criticized Special Counsel Jack Smith for "COMING AFTER ME."

Trump recently addressed various concerns in his public statements and criticized several prevailing problems, including taxes, the "Woke Military," and "INFLATION," which has notably declined.

According to a key inflation measure called Personal Consumption Expenditures, inflation has dropped to 1.9% over the past six months, below the Federal Reserve's target of 2%.

Trump also mentioned the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine and stated that as the former president, he would "solve" the war by declining any additional military aid for Ukraine and putting pressure on Ukraine to negotiate a deal.

This deal would include Ukraine relinquishing some territory to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Despite Trump's recurring posts of personal grievance, he has maintained a significant lead in the GOP presidential primary, according to survey results.

Additionally, in several key states, Trump is ahead of current President Joe Biden in a head-to-head matchup, per a report by The New York Times.

Meanwhile, President Joe Biden's Christmas message took a more traditional approach.

“Today, may the light from the first Christmas illuminate your homes, warm your hearts, and kindle your hopes for the year to come,” the 81-year-old incumbent tweeted from his presidential account on X. “From the Biden family, we wish you and your family a peaceful and healthy holiday.”

President Biden's account on X also stated that he and his wife, First Lady Jill Biden, spent time on Monday talking with military members and wishing them a Merry Christmas.

Internet asks Trump to have some decorum during the holidays

People on X went off on the former US president again, this time for his use of uncouth language against his rivals and posting Christmas wishes for his supporters loaded with political messaging.

One X user remarked: “How, presidential…"

Another user quipped: "“Unpresidented?” Hey! That’s what happened to you, DJT! #trumpsterfire".

Another user wrote, "Only Trump would try to take the fun out of everyone else's Christmas."

One user tweeted: "Let me fix this message fur you... "Merry Christmas to All"... Simple and inclusive without being snarky. But then you don't know how to be normal for even 1 single day. Try it sometime.. you might find ppl are more receptive".

Another X user remarked: "Very Christian of you"

Finally, this user asked: "Desperate much?"
