Video of Trump’s huge new American flag installations at White House sparks patriotic praise online

WASHINGTON, DC: Two towering American flags now stand on either side of the White House after President Donald Trump funded and oversaw the installation of 88-foot flagpoles on the North and South Lawns.

The display, unveiled just ahead of Independence Day, July 4, has triggered an online debate about symbolism.

A video shared by an official White House social media account gave the public its first full look at the towering poles eliciting positive reactions. Users lauded the move as a bold display of patriotism.

“President Trump personally paid to install two big, beautiful American Flags to wave proudly over the White House for years to come,” White House spokesperson Davis Ingle told Fox News Digital on Thursday, July 10.

“This is just one of many projects President Trump selflessly paid for to make the White House even more patriotic and beautiful.”

The project reportedly cost around $100,000 total, with Trump footing the bill himself.



 

During a flag-raising ceremony held on June 18, Trump celebrated the installation declaring the poles to be “the best poles anywhere in the country or in the world.” He also took a moment to reflect on what he described as a long-overdue addition to the White House grounds.

The White House recently shared a video unveiling towering new American flags installed on the premises prompting a flurry of online reactions ranging from patriotic praise to admirations.

One user celebrated the display, writing, “HUGE! Love the patriotism. MAGA.”



 

Another wrote, “BIG, BEAUTIFUL WHITE HOUSE!”



 

Others applauded the visual tribute, “They should have always been there. God bless America! 🇺🇸 Forever proud to be American.”

One user lauded, “It’s beautiful to see these flags waving at the White House. Thank you President Trump, they was are a beautiful gift to America,” while the other user wrote, “Makes me feel like a proud American again ! Let's make America Great Again! Thank you Mr. President @realDonaldTrump for making America Great Again! M.A.G.A.”



 

A user penned, “I love how he loves America. It gave him everything, and now he just wants to give Americans everything he can.”



 

Another user summed up, “Trump really has an eye. Those new flags just make the WH pop!!”
