Sen. Rochester brandishes document that allowed her formerly enslaved 3rd great-grandfather to vote

Senate Democrats have launched an ‘Election Protection Task Force’ for the upcoming mid-term elections later this year. At the news conference where they made the announcement, Senator Lisa Blunt Rochester displayed her scarf which featured the print of a historic document.
