Colorado Deputy Uses ‘Grappler’ Device to Stop Stolen Car and Shut Down Chase Instantly
A Douglas County deputy in Colorado used a Grappler device to stop a stolen vehicle before a pursuit could begin, following a Flock camera alert last month. Authorities say deputies located the stolen car at a gas station near Chambers Road and Belford Avenue. As the vehicle left the parking lot, a deputy deployed the Grappler system, bringing the car to a safe stop.
