Dancers Reenact ICE K*llings During Anti-Trump Performance in Washington
Broadway and former Kennedy Center dancers staged a protest performance in opposition of the Trump administration on Presidents’ Day, footage captured in Washington shows. The choreography reenacted the final moments of Renee Good and Alex Pretti - the two civilians who were gunned down by Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Minneapolis. This footage was shared to Instagram by @hungrymaninc and @FirstAmendmentTroop, with the caption: “Since Trump fancies himself the chairman of entertainment at the Kennedy Center, we thought we should show you the tragically un-American script he’s been writing.” According to reports, the dancers got partway through routine before they were stopped by authorities. They earlier managed to complete their performance outside the Lincoln Center Memorial.
